Mark Ingram (4 Viewers)

Damn.  So it's either bench Ingram and start Hightower, start them both or start Hightower and Coleman.  Ugh.  I will change this 20 times before kickoff

I'd start both over Coleman. Game script should favor feeding the RBs, Cooks might get force fed since he's been whining and Thomas has been dominating targets.

Im going Hightower over Snead at Flex (PPR) for what it's worth.

I think I'm going to bench him and put in Ebron.  .5 RB PPR, 1.5 TE PPR.

Of note, I have benched him on both of his blow up days this year when he scored 30+.  So enjoy the 30 for those of you starting him!

I'll have both in my line-up today, and hoping both blow up.

So hard to trust Ingram in my lineup. He's been on my bench for his biggest games, and in my lineup for the negative game. WHile I have other good options (Miller and Rawls) for the same spot, I can't help but feel INgram has the higher ceiling...and the lower floor.

Didn't know this. Last week Payton took over play calling from OC Pete Carmichael. Payton calling the plays again per Ed Werder on ESPN.

So, if you liked what Ingram got last week, he should get more of the same called.

I'm taking this as a positive.

He's driven me nuts this year being so inconsistent. Payton doesn't help with his unpredictability.

I have him on my bench this week with Ware and Miller above him.

My thoughts are he sits late if NO is ahead. He splits with Hightower and is OK, not great this week. Or, it's a shootout and both RB's are less involved.  Too risky for me trying to make the playoffs.  Oh yes, detroit is much stingier than GB or ATL versus the run.

Hope I'm wrong for all you that have gone with him this week, but I can't chance it. Good luck guys.

It's the same as it's been for over a month now: He plays?  Start him.  Own both he and Hightower?  Start both if you can.

I've been doing it, albeit grudgingly, and it's worked out pretty well.  This week I just can't bring myself to do it.  Matchups for others at that flex spot are too good, so I'm benching Timmy(so, you're welcome in advance if you're starting him).  I don't think it's ridiculous to see both be worth starting again though, especially in PPR, if you're confident Hightower finds the EZ.

Ugh...was the right idea to tke Lamar Miller out of my lineup. It was the wrong idea to put INgram in instead of Rawls :(

Would be curious to know how many who started both Ingram and Hightower survived and made it to the playoffs.

NO offense killed a lot of teams yesterday.

Was a limited participant at practice Friday, Dec 9th. Still questionable for Sunday's game.

Hope he gets a good practice in Saturday and he will probably be good to go.

I read a Rappaport tweet from Saturday that's Ingram is moving better this week than last week, where he outsnapped and out-touched Hightower. Gene Bramel on the Audible LIVE podcast said it's possible Ingram looked good enough Wednesday that the Saints purposefully held him out Thursday to get more treatment and save him a bit, then the limited return Friday.

It's risky, but if he's active I'll be playing him as I don't really have very many other options.

If he plays, I play him. Playoffs on the line, I'm not gonna start second guessing my starters now.

Thomas too. If he plays, I play him.

Grateful I have a bye so I don't have to think about this for a week.

A week off from torture.

@AZ next week. Not a good matchup.

I can start Mitchell, Moncrief or Gabriel over him. Haven't decided yet, this dude's weekly variance is stressful and this is a tough matchup so i'm leaning toward sitting him for one of the wideout options.

Sanu out, Julio likely a decoy at best -- I'd go with Gabriel here.

I have my regular weekly decision of Ingram or Booker.

I'm leaning Ingram because of matchup and general Booker ineffectiveness.

Not confident in this decision.

I have no choice but to start him, unless I want to pick up Dwayne Washington/Zach Zenner/James Starks/Rex Burkhead.

Rolling the dice.

Yeah, the thing is he's actually really good on screens and he's easily the most explosive runner they have. Doesn't make sense why he's not playing more especially when running the hurry up.

Y'all can't put this on Ingram.

Brees with 6 Ints and 0 TDs over the last two games - drive killing picks don't help RBs.

ingram was getting big gains throughout - had a few red zone carries too - 3rd and 1 at the 3 he gets 2, first and goal false start, 2nd and goal sack, 3rd and goal incomplete. FG.

If Brees doesn't crap the bed, Ingram would have had a much better day.

Not saying any of that helps those who started him (including me) but I have a hard time bashing a guy who's QB has been absolute crap for 8 straight quarters.
