I picked him up off the pile. 2003 was a long time ago, but I still think about it. He was dominant then and looked like he was gong to be awesome for years.

Now? Who knows. Anybody think he can contribute this year for a team other than Des Moines?

Prior (who will forever be linked to Kerry Wood) will, like Wood, never be an impact pitcher in the majors again. Cubs (mis)management should be ashamed of themselves for contributing to the ruination of two such great arms.
