I'm not sure I would start him this year and I'm a huge fan. He's already there as a good NFL QB but not yet for fantasy. In a couple of years he should be lights out top 5.

Just don't see it. I don't think Sanchez will have many fantasy weeks that are going to be in the top 10. The Jet still have a below average set of receivers, and the OL is better at run blocking that pass blocking (although it's still above average, IMO, as a pass blocking unit).

I wouldn't go trading away Matt Ryan or Tony Romo to pave the way for him to get my fantasy starts. That said, if for some reason he's my best option, I'd be ok with him in there. Not excited, but ok.

In a 2QB league I think he's a decent start this weekend but I wouldn't want to be relying on him every week.

starting him on sunday in a league where we get 1 point per completion. i think the Jets are gonna have to throw a bit this week. Titans run D isnt the same without Haynesworth, but its still better than their pass D.

My only other option is Flacco. (McNabb still out).

I'm in the camp that says "I'm happy to have him as my NFL team's starting QB, but don't want him as my fantasy QB" - for this season at least. The Jets are not going to ask Sanchez to win games for them and they will do everything they can to limit his opportunities. Think Joe Flacco of last season - very good rookie year, but not very fantasy relevant.

There could be weeks that he'll do in a pinch, but it would be hard to rely on him week in and week out.

This is more relevant if your starter is already out due to injury. There's no way that Sanchez rates as a fantasy starter just yet.

I'm a McNabb owner, and currently I'm debating between Campbell, Kolb and Sanchez. Campbell's the likely pick this week simply due to matchup (@Lions), but if it was just Kolb and Sanchez I might actually go with Sanchez.

You folks must play in some pretty shallow leagues to have him not at least figure as an option.......or you drafted your QB very early

I think he is a reasonable play in many weeks, especially as the season progresses and he gets more experience with the Jets

 Deciding between Garrard, Palmer and someone like Sanchez.

McNabb owner here with Garrard/Sanchez. I'm giving Sanchez the start this week vs. Tennessee. Fingers crossed, but, not that excited.

I'm in the same position with McNabb out and Campbell as a backup. Right now, I've got Sanchez in over Campbell, but that may change as it gets closer to Sunday. If Campbell lays another egg this weekend, I may be forced to roll with Sanchez until McNabb gets healthy. To get back to more of a strategy discussion. Sanchez isn't a guy that will win you your matchup, but he likely won't lose it for you, either. Chances are, that if you're contemplating using him you waited on grabbing a QB, probably making your RB and WR corps strong, so you may be able to get away with getting 12-15 points from him and hope that your RB and WR's can make up the difference.

Yes, for the people that waited and drafted crappy or injured QBs, he's definitely an option.

I would´ve considered starting him this week even if my QB1 wasn´t hurt (QB2 sucks). Schaub had a pretty nice day against them (350+ yds, 4TDs).
