Celek has two good weeks in a row and Ertz is out, so that's the easiest answer. Mathews is out again this week so Sproles is more interesting. They tried to get Agholor involved early last week, but it's a big gamble. Will have a good game eventually but might not this week.Dirty Sanchez is officially startying. Who'd the fart start or a what the heck flex?
I think he has done this from pretty early on in the Jets days. One of the likable things about him and for me, it is not a long list.
He went to two AFC Championship games with a similar defense and far worse weapons on offense. I'd say his chances are low, of course, but not zero.Broncos chances to repeat with Sanchez=0
I'm sorry, but I can't see any scenario where that mutt Sanchez is hoisting a SB trophy. He will ALWAYS make just enough plays to get you beat.He went to two AFC Championship games with a similar defense and far worse weapons on offense. I'd say his chances are low, of course, but not zero.
You are giving the Broncos worse odds than Leicester City?Broncos chances to repeat with Sanchez=0
It is hard to see Sanchez winning a SB. Then again, Dilfer won one on the back of a great defense and basically not being a moron. Can Sanchez not be a moron? Yea, I don't see Sanchez winning the SB.I'm sorry, but I can't see any scenario where that mutt Sanchez is hoisting a SB trophy. He will ALWAYS make just enough plays to get you beat.
Broncos.com's Andrew Mason describes the Broncos' quarterback job as a "wide open" competition.
Mason cautioned to not "assume" Mark Sanchez will be named the Week 1 starter, and doesn't anticipate Gary Kubiak making any announcements until the preseason is underway. Kubak plans to "spread the reps around," giving Sanchez, Paxton Lynch, and Trevor Siemian equally long looks. "When he says it's going to be an open competition, he means it," Mason said of Kubiak. "Don't assume anything." With Sanchez (thumb surgery) sitting out OTAs, Lynch and Siemian are seeing expanded practice work.

The Denver Post's Troy Renck believes Mark Sanchez "has to win" the starting job in camp.
"I'd give slight edge to Sanchez," Renck said. "Before, though, I thought he had to lose the job. Now he has to win it in camp." Perhaps coach Gary Kubiak's claim that Sanchez and Trevor Siemian are "neck and neck" for the starting job is not as farfetched as it seems. Neither player is the long-term answer for Denver, and it is possible they will prove in camp they are not the short-term answer either. First-rounder Paxton Lynch will almost certainly make starts this season.

Coach Gary Kubiak confirmed Mark Sanchez will handle the first quarterback reps at Broncos camp.
Kubiak did call the quarterback battle a "tricky situation," and said Trevor Siemian will share first-team reps with Sanchez. Paxton Lynch fell behind in the spring and no longer appears to be a serious candidate to start in Week 1. The fact that Sanchez could not separate himself from Siemian is a bad sign for the player once nicknamed "Sanchize." Siemian posted a 27:24 TD-to-INT ratio in his Northwestern career, completing under 60 percent of his throws.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the draft pick Denver traded for Mark Sanchez was a conditional pick.
That means the Broncos will not owe the Eagles anything if they decide to release Sanchez at final cuts. After losing out to Trevor Siemian for the starting job, Sanchez now appears to be competing with rookie Paxton Lynch for his roster spot. The Broncos could also save $3.5 million by releasing Sanchez.

Mark Sanchez didn't play in Saturday's preseason game.
The fact that Sanchez was glued to a clipboard for Denver's regular season dress rehearsal tells you all you need to know about his "competition" with Trevor Siemian, but it doesn't necessarily mean he will be cut. Sanchez is a known commodity to anyone who has watched NFL football since 2009. The Broncos needed to see as much of Siemian and Paxton Lynch as possible. Sanchez's release remains a distinct possibility, of course. Cutting him would save $4.5 million, and get the Broncos their seventh-round pick back.

Redskins signed QB Mark Sanchez.
The NFL's "meritocracy" spins on. When last we heard of 32-year-old Sanchez, he was being slapped with a four-game PED ban in April. Now he will serve as Colt McCoy's backup in Washington. Sanchez has attempted just 109 passes since the end of the 2014 seasons. Teams have to start getting more imaginative at quarterback instead of recycling the same retreads over and over and over again.

This is the list of free agent QBs on the sideImaginative? I guess that means either Kaep or holding tryouts at the local high school.
Mark Sanchez completed 13-of-21 passes for 100 scoreless yards and one interception in the Redskins' 28-13, Week 13 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.
Colt McCoy broke his fibula early in the first half, and crusty Sanchez had to come on in relief as the team's lone healthy quarterback. He handed off to Adrian Peterson on his first play, and the ageless back went 90 yards to the house. The Redskins never threatened the end zone again, with Sanchez throwing his pick in Eagles territory. The guy is not good and doesn't belong on an NFL roster. Unfortunately, we have to watch him for another month. The Giants get Sanchez next.
Dec 3 - 11:14 PM
Mark Sanchez has retired from the NFL.
Sanchez was forced into a Week 14 spot start for the Redskins when Colt McCoy got injured last year. He managed to stick around as a backup despite looking washed the past several seasons. Sanchez made playoff appearances his first two years but had been on a downward trajectory since. He finishes his career with a 56.6 completion percentage, 15,357 yards, and an 86:89 TD/INT ratio. Sanchez will move into broadcasting as a college football analyst for ESPN.
