That'd be something.

Seattle's about done with his BS seems like.

Their RBs are a bit thin though.

This trade make no sense. Oak has no need for another RB and Sea has depth issues rat RB right now.

Sorry. I forgot. This is no good unless I post a link to a "creditable" source http://dailyleak.org/2014/10/marshawn-lynch-to-raiders/
I'm waiting for The Onion to confirm this.
From the dailyleak's news section:

Mormon Church Leaders Issue “Revelation” Banning KetchupA senior apostle of the Church of Latter Day Saints has struck a first-in-the-nation religious ban on ketchup. Meanwhile, some Mormons are pushing their church on the question of other illicit condiments. In the recent case, President of Mormon operations, Thomas S. Monson stated on Sunday that a ban would be in line with church’s “revelations on spelling out healthy eating practices.” Lower level LDS members could appeal to the 15 apostles leaders, where chances of changing doctrine seemed slim since the President had already ruled in favor of banning […]

Also, Breaking Now!:

Seahawks Players: Punter Jon Ryan “Not Nearly Ginger Enough”Earlier this week, ESPN Reporter Kenny Mayne wrote about the ongoing saga in Seattle in the wake of the Percy Harvin trade. Specifically, some Seahawks players may think eight-year punter Jon Ryan is too ginger, or is it not nearly ginger enough? No one is quite sure at this point. Some reports say Ryan may be a little too bloodthirsty in his efforts to be the league’s best punter, and doesn’t always put his soul on the line for the sake of the team.

Then there’s this: “There is also an element of race that needs to be discussed,” Mayne wrote. “My feeling on this — and it’s backed up by several interviews with Seahawks players — is that some of the black players think Ryan is too ginger. In fact, some players say his ghostly white skin and red eyes are scaring the team’s younger black players, causing them to crawl up into the fetal position and give up on special teams. Losing last week to the pathetic St. Louis Rams was really the last straw.”
This will affect those in 2P (start 2 punter) leagues.

Seahawks trading Lynch is probably a 50-50 proposition. But the Raiders?

More likely IMO would be the Patriots, Chargers, Bills, or Panthers.

Would the Bills want him back? I don't remember how cordial of a split they had. Also I don't see the Panthers being a buyer. They have way too much cap tied to that position already.

I bet they swap him for Doug Martin/Vjax and some filler in stuff. Both teams get rid of their "issues" and everyone is happy...except Lynch.

I don't think it was a bad split, but I don't see the Bills wanting him back. He was a bit of an off-the-field hassle. That was the old regime though, so who knows.

Adam Schefter says that Marshawn Lynch won't be moved by the NFL trade deadline, but if the Seahawks can develop their young running backs by the end of the year, Lynch probably will not return to Seattle next season.
My opinion is the Mort story on the Lynch rift yesterday got blown out of proportion. He didn't really report anything and the thought this is probably being Lynch's last year in Seattle isn't really new. Lynch might have possibly got traded if our FB who gets about 5 snaps a game wasn't hurt? yea, that really makes no sense.

Lynch has never been a social butterfly or a coach's guy his entire tenure in Seattle. Apparently that's a story now?

who would be the young backs? I know it's between Turbin and Michael...Turbin is backup now but would he realistically get the job next year?

If only there was a 60 page thread on that somewhere.

This would be Christmas for me (as an owner of both VJax and Martin). How the heck did I get so tied to the Bucs? Oy vey...that's some bad roster management.

Can't see Seattle trading him this year. In the off season, heck yeah, but if they want to make a run this year can they do it without him?

Unless they think he's done. Then getting anything for him could be an upgrade.

Seattle's a mess. They're trying to cut costs so they can sign Wilson as their franchise QB. Purposely giving Lynch less carries so that he can't reach 1000 yards to lower his value is just ridiculous imo...

While its true they will sign Wilson to a long term deal they don't need to free up cash. The rest of your statement is WAYYYY OFF.

Seattle is in a much better cap situation than you know. They won't have a problem signing Wilson. If there's going to be a problem it might be in keeping their linebackers. Wagner and Wright are going to be up for new deals as well. They have the room to keep them both, but they might choose to spend that money elsewhere. Perhaps a free agent that's currently playing for someone else. Also, they will have to make a decision on Carpenter, but I think they will let him walk.

I guess the media missed with the "Seattle is tired of Lynch" so they needed to come up with something else. You guys are getting trolled by the media.

Compare his numbers from last year to this year. He's on pace for 100 less carry attempts. You think that's by mistake. You're fooling yourself.

Yea, this is ridiculous. There is no way any team in this league would risk losing a game (or multiple games) by not giving carries to their stud feature back just because of a salary bonus (which is likely some pittance relative to the $140M cap). The coaches obviously feel that they have a better chance winning by doing whatever they are doing as opposed to giving it to him 25 times. That comment is so idiotic that it should be permanently scrubbed from the board so as not to mislead people.

Also, the argument about them trading Lynch to free up cap space is not even in the ballpark of being correct. Take 30 seconds and check their cap space before posting such a stupid remark. The Seahawks currently have the 6th most cap space for 2015 ($33M!) and another $8.5M in 2014 (11th most) that will roll over to next year if they don't otherwise use it this year.

So many comments on this board are absurd and/or can be refuted with a few seconds of research.

I'm not even sure he was talking about a salary bonus.

There actually is no bonus. It was voided when the contract was re-done.
