Marshawn Lynch week 13 and beyond.. (1 Viewer)

The guy has rushed for 1000 yards in two consecutive seasons. Any Buffalo homers? Is he not motivated? Is he out of shape? You guys holding him or dropping him into FA? The guys highest yardage this season was 69 yards, pretty god awful.

I dropped him for the CHI DEF (a one week play). I didn't see Lynch cracking my starting lineup again this year.

Dropped in both my leagues. Here are my RBs (2 RBs start with a flex):

1

Adrian Peterson

Chris Johnson

Fred Jackson

Beanie Wells

Chester Taylor

2

Adrian Peterson

Ray Rice

Jamaal Charles

Fred Jackson

Beanie Wells

So I may not be the best example. But I can't imagine using him.

I'd like to drop him, but there's really nothing on the wire I'd rather have. I put in my claim for this week to grab Forsett & dump Hilliard

I just dropped Lynch for Norwood in my redraft league.

Can't stand it anymore.

And I have Lynch in my Keep 3 league. Not dropping him in that league,

of course, but I am doing everything I can to NOT have him be one of my keepers

next year. It's sad since, in the few games that I've seen him play, he runs like

a beast. It just never adds up to a 100 yards rushing somehow, regardless of how

bad that offense is.

Unless a miracle happens, I'm throwing in the towel on Lynch after this year...

I don't see Lynch doing much this year, but I'm not sure I could cut him because of a lack of quality options at RB.

In dynasty leagues, I would hold. I am not the biggest Lynch fan, but the fact is Buffalo has arguably the worst offensive line in the league (even before the rash of injuries) and also one of the worst QB situations in the league.

He is precisely the kind of player you buy in a dynasty format. Great pedigree, tough runner, pretty darn talented, and has had some success in the past. He is still very young, and there will be huge changes coming for that team. His value will never be lower than it is right now.

Dropped him in my keeper league. My other RBs are CJohnson, Forsett, R Bush, Jacobs, and Sproles. I couldn't see playing him either.

I always thought Justin Forsett was just as productive of a back as Marshawn Lynch at Cal. Lynch was a first round pick in 07 while Forsett was a 7th round pick in 08. Lynch came out in a relatively weak RB class of 07 while Forsett came out in a strong class in 08. I realize there were concerns about Forsett's size. However, my opinion is that expectations may have been a little too high of Lynch.

Getting ready to dump him for a backup TE in case Celek can't go or for a WR such as Maclin. I don't see value this year and we only keep two.

Dumped last week for Charles. Too bad, he was my "everyone is overlooking this guy because he is suspended" pick in the draft. Not sure what went wrong but he just isn't getting it done.

how about the fact that Fred Jackson will wear a Bills uniform next year and the year after tooi'm in a Dynasty and i'll try to trade Lynch ASAP at the end of the season

Not really a good time to drop him when he plays tomorrow and then faces KC next week.
he was worthless splitting the carries with Jacksonnow that he has shoulder problems and he lost his job...why do you expect some value ???
I thought about this too and I wanted to keep him just for that matchup but it would be very hard to start the guy with confidence in week 14 as a flex even against KC. He had good matchups in the past that he didn't capitalized on and even when he received 17+ carries he couldn't top 70 yards. Throw in the injury and Jackson getting a majority and not a split, and he just doesn't seem worth the spot. I dropped him for Felix Jones in a redraft league. I don't even mean to start the guy but I think he has more upside than Lynch.

fred jackson is 28. marshawn lynch is 23. I'll take Lynch long-term, Jackson for 2009.

Another classic bust. I know BUF has tons of issues, but Jackson seems to be getting it done behind that line. ML, welcome to the waiver wire.

any buffalo homers with news on Lynch, especially with regards to expected playing time this week against the chiefs. tia.

Well obviously Fewell isn't going with the "hot hand". Lynch barely touched the ball after his big first half, while F-Jax wasn't getting it done. It's hard to say which Buffalo RB will perform (if any) in a given game. Their O-line is just so bad, many games could have each of them getting 9 carries for 22 yards.

I'd consider Lynch a desperation play only for this week due to the uncertainty of his role, even vs KC. I'd call F-Jax a low-level RB2.
