He needs the easy schedule, b/c he hasn't looked particularly good, IMO. He doesn't seem to have the burst he had last year, and I'm not gonna count on TDs to keep making up for poor yardage #'s. Plus, Fred Jackson is stealing receptions. I still can't get over his measly 57 yds against a horrible Rams def front (yes, I know he had two 20 yd runs wiped-out due to penalties). Guess all I'm saying is that his schedule is great and all, but he hasn't looked all that great when watching him.
WHAT?! Have you watched the games? I have not run into a single person who believes what you have just said... the dude is a beast and never gives up. He always makes something out of nothing. Since Jason Peters is back the whole OL hasn't looked right...
Hey, it's just one guy's opinion... I don't claim to be infallible. Am I satisfied w/ his avg weekly pts? Yes. Do I agree w/ you that he runs hard? You bet. BUT, his yardage numbers aren't impressive. To my eyes, he doesn't look as dynamic as I remember from early last season. I'd simply feel better if his yardage #'s improved, and if he'd start getting more receptions (given the good job Jackson has done, I doubt the second will happen). In my league scoring, he is 10th in RB pts, only 1 pt away from being outside the top 10. I was hoping for a potential top 5 guy when I took him (in light of his schedule + assumed ability), and given the ease of his early schedule, I wish he were better than #10 in RB scoring. For such an easy schedule, he hasn't been quite as studly as I had hoped, that's all; he looks plodding to me at times.
