Anybody heard anything new on Lynch? What is the talk of his suspension? Is he definatley getting suspended? If so are people talking of how many games Goodell might "bench" him for?

I would think yes he is def getting suspended. The NFL will probobly wait until after the court case is taken care of. They usually do. As far as number of games, I dont see it being anymore than 4. Its misdemeanor stuff. Granted its his second mishap but anymore than 4 games would be almost crazy.

I think they are limited to 4 games by the CBA.... not sure of the guidelines on it.My guess is that it will be 4 games and Buff will draft a RB Day 1 to groom for next year and Lynch will have a new home. They had their share of problems with Travis Henry. They tried to get Fred Taylor in for a visit but he signed with NE quickly. Buff wants somebody to work with Fred Jackson. I don't see Fred getting all the work even with Lynch in Suspension. Who's left? I don't even know any more...

Larry Johnson - short term answer and cost might be too high

Edge - again, short term value

M Bush - this move would make sense, but what would Al Davis want in return?

The Bills have had Kevin Jones in for a look and have DeShaun Foster in today. My guess is that they end up signing one of those two. Not really all that exciting for sure. Both of them are barely RBBC guys. Neither one could carry a full load. I guess you could give either one of them some carries, but neither one is likely to do a whole lot with them.

I did a little research and couldnt find definite rules but found some suspensions longer than 4 games.Tank Johnson was suspended for 8 games in 2007

Tim Couch was suspended 6 games in 07

Pacman was suspended for a year, Vick Indefinitely.

I did find on eHow.com that in the Rules of Conduct it leaves sole disecretion to the Commissioner. but again thats nothing official. So not sure how much emphasis to put on it being true.

With Day 1 only being two rounds = I don't think this will happen...unless they fill the other needs at DE, OLB, and TE in Free Agency - which I don't see that happening either.

With Day 1 only being two rounds = I don't think this will happen...unless they fill the other needs at DE, OLB, and TE in Free Agency - which I don't see that happening either.

Agreed, I wouldn't be shocked if Buffalo simply did nothing at all at RB. Why can't they just go with Fred Jackson for(at most) a month?
