I'm so confused about the unevenness of the new stuff they got the rights to. Some of it they seem to be just keeping the current universe as it was (Daredevil, Wolverine, etc) and we're expected to already know what happened, while others (Fantastic Four) they're completely rebooting. I am guessing it has more to do with how good the previous incarnations were. Netflix did well with DD and the Punisher, Deadpool was great. Fans wanted more of these.
FF was poor and X-Men had some good and a lot bad. Plus integrating them in will take more then just an intro, esp with how the bigger mutants fit in overall. Fans want it done right.

It looks good and I loved The Punisher on Netflix. I only watched Jessica Jones season 1, so I have to figure out what else I “need” to watch because it is a bit confusing as to what’s what.

Also, the new Captain America ads do not make me want to watch it. It just feels like it’s going to be so political that it won’t just be a great movie. Also, the stand alone Hulk movies were mediocre at best and this feels more like that than Avengers.

Punisher - both seasons are good
Iron Fist - 1 is bad, 2 is ok (most didn't like either)
Luke Cage - 1 is good, 2 is ok.
Defenders - Unpopular opinion, but I liked it.

For the new DD series, may only "need" to watch DD and Punisher.

I'm with you on most of your rankings.

Daredevil S1, S3, S2 is my order going from Amazing to Still Pretty Good.
JJ S1 was so great, due in large part to one of the best villains portrayed by David Tennant. The next 2 seasons were also good, but just not as good as the first.
I liked both Punisher seasons
Luke Cage 1 I thought was really good, particularly the first half with Ali as the villain. The second half dipped a little and the whole second season was not as good. I started liking the villain in the second season more than Luke. Didn't like the ending
Iron Fist just didn't like either season due to a total miscast for the main role, although I did like Jessica Henwith (sp), she did well in her role.
I liked the Defenders as well.

Disney + is a perfect service to grab on an as needed basis. I need to watch Season 3 of What If (I liked the first 2). I'd like to finish Agatha (I loved the character in WandaVision but the first episode didn't grab me).

I did like JJ season 1. I watched Luke Cage but it wasn’t good enough to finish. Honestly, JJ seemed to drop when Luke Cage joined the show. Heck, I started Iron Fist but I’m not sure I got to the second episode.

I did like JJ season 1. I watched Luke Cage but it wasn’t good enough to finish. Honestly, JJ seemed to drop when Luke Cage joined the show. Heck, I started Iron Fist but I’m not sure I got to the second episode.

William Hurt passed away. Harrison Ford will be taking on the role of Thaddeus Ross, who becomes president of the US.

Note there are some other good MCU netflix shows including incredible season 1 of Jessica Jones (arguably the best villain across all the MCU). but this show does not appear to be needed to enjoy the new Daredevil show coming out.

I watched Venom and Madame Web but not Kraven or Morbius. Venom was fun, Madame Web probably wasn't as bad as people want it to be. I am guessing Kraven and Morbuis aren't either?
They are all the Sony w/o Spidey Universe so I didn't feel a need to watch like Eternals or Quantumania.

This is a very important film if the next big arc of MCU is going to work.

I noticed that they did not show Reed Richard’s super powers.

When Reed is writing on the chalk board, if you pause and zoom in he is trying to find out how to bridge his universe to another. I assume this will tie in to how they get themselves to cross over into what ever universe Doomsday will be in.

Latest trailers seems to connect it to Eternals and Wolverine so it may be worth watching to see what direction it takes things and if they truly start working toward something.
