Marvel Cinematic Universe - Brave New World, Thunderbolts, Daredevil Look Good for 2025 (2 Viewers)

Wtf is Spiderman Noir?

if you watched Spiderman Into the Spiderverse set of movies, Spiderman Noir is the character voiced by Nick Cage.

Spiderman-Noir is an 8 episode animated series based on an alternate version of this character, set in the 1930's (Nick Cage will also voice the character in the tv series).
I'm pretty sure the Spiderman Noir series will be live action, I saw some set shots of Nic Cage in costume. Will be on MGM+ for a time then released via Amazon Prime.

Venom Last Dance was entertaining. Not fantastic, but a decent watch.

Is this really the last Venom movie?

I thought he was going to be in a movie with Spiderman?

Maybe not with Tom Hardy? The goo was left in the bar at the end of No Way Home.

Is Agatha All Along any good?

Heard an interview with Hardy who said it was a trilogy but would love to play Venom again anytime.
Would love to see him, Spidey, Daredevil and Deadpool all come together.

Agathy is dark, a little creepy and yes its good.

Son and I watched it over the weekend. We both thought it was terrible. Nothing really happened for most of the movie. Even the post credits didn't really setup much. We left it thinking "maybe something will happen next" and "i guess symbiotes are like cockroaches". Not really a movie I'd recommend. You can tell it's a Sony movie. Doesn't feel anything like the non-Sony Marvel movies. I didn't think it could get worse than Venom 2, but Sony managed to do it.

We saw it and liked it. I would give it a B or B-. My order of the trilogy would be 1, 3, 2. Some decent laughs but a lot of non connected things happening, with people making just terrible decisions.

I'm glad you mentioned the post credits. Please skip them, I waited for both (one mid, one end) and neither was worth it.

I loved Agatha in WandaVision, but I've only watched the first episode thus far. It didn't hook me like I expected (I love Aubrey Plaza). I'll definitely finish it but may do a binge of it when it is completely done.

If I am not mistaken, I think the last two episodes come out this week.
They sure do, on Wednesday.
Glad you mentioned this, watched this series over the weekend. Was liking it a lot but thought the ending was dumb so I'm glad there are more episodes 😆

“engage your core!” and all the horsey lines made me laugh.

I'm surprised so many people like Agatha - its so boring and I'm not sure why I am continuing with it other than just for the sake of the Marvel timeline and whatever new characters that may come out of it.

I feel like I generally don't hate the newer movies as much as some seem to, but I find Agatha a chore to watch - and I love the two leads (Hahn and Plaza) otherwise.

I don’t care about the marvel timeline at all lol other than Loki this is the first marvel show I’ve watched since wandavision. It’s just a spooky, fun, surprising well-done show.

Good info., because I didn't watch Ms. Marvel or She-Hulk, and didn't really like Falcon or Moon Knight (though I thought it had potential).

Note that Agatha is the second in what is expected to be a 3 part story.

WandaVision being the first part, Agatha All Along the second part and expected next year some time is the conclusion entitled Vision Quest.

As of now Vision Quest is expected to star Paul Bettany back in his Vision role and James Spader back as Ultron.

Yeah nothing like 10 years later to finally finish a single story. smh

Wouldn’t Multiverse of Madness have to fit in there as well?

I think he may have been referring to Ultron.

Then I'm not sure I see your point. These characters are supposed to be recurring for the most part. Ultron may appear in flashback.

My point is that they are going way too slowly. Even if you exclude Age of Ultron and consider WandaVision to the alleged Vision Quest and assume the same development time and episode count, you're still talking about 6 years to produce 3 seasons and 27 episodes. If you include Ultron it's even worse.

I guess they can't wiin. People have complained that there are too many movies.

And part of that production time was lost to Covid. (And the Kang thing.)

They can't win because they have produced a lot of subpar content. Sounds like they are moving to more quality content with fewer releases per year, which hopefully will be a better direction. Hopefully the Vision Quest series won't be another 3-4 years in the making if they are able to focus their resources.

Filming is supposed to start in England early next year, with a planned release in 2026.

We enjoyed Agatha. Especially liked the twist, but didn't like the ghost aspect.

Didn't realize this would be a 3 parter with WandaVision and Vision Quest though.

It works because Agatha took Death's power. Very logical. Also, she's supposed to be a mentor to witches. That's hard to do if you are all the way dead.

Oh sure it makes sense that way, still didn't like it to much so we'll see what happens next.

And since when is anyone all the way dead in the MCU? :boxing:

You sure are picky. Too logical also.

:lmao: maybe a little. I did like the show and am curious where it goes from here.

MCU has a lot of dangling strings and nothing yet bringing them all together.

Might have been my least favorite part of the show. I get the comic tie-in and the reasoning. Just wasn't the biggest fan of that approach.

I know, dying is meaningless in the comics, too. And really meaningless in a multiverse regardless. But dying should mean something. There's no reason to ever believe a major character is going to die for good. I want to see RR Martin write 80% of a series for Marvel.

To be fair, each phase has had its weak spots (I don't think any of us fondly remember Tony Stark peeing in his Iron Man suit).

I feel like too many fans think that anything post Endgame has been complete garbage. There have certainly been some weak movies, like most phases have had but there have also been some enjoyable movies as well, and a couple that I would put in my personal top tier of MCU movies.
