In the alliance events where we've rallied and tried, we were about the 100th ranked clan, so the rank prizes aren't out of reach (granted we don't have doc scoring half our points now )

The rank rewards for anything beyond rank 50 are nothing special, so it's either top 50 or nothing.

Ninersfan has a 683, 4-star Thor that is worth 60 points total.

You get 5 points even if you fail a duel.

I have a rank 1, level 10 Thor that most can probably squash as well (don't know whether you can repeat a duel or not).

Yup. I hit 2 3 star drones with a 3 star Ultron in the arena and got a huge pay-out from the Ultron.

Don't upgrade Thor for now would be a good start. And get in 5 duels today and 5 tomorrow before noon.

If 21 of us (that was how many helped in the last quest event) can get in two sets of duels, and we each only need to average 240 each round to get to the spider crystal. With the top guys being able to easily get 300 points each, this should not be that hard to accomplish. We just need everyone on board. If you don't think you can beat a 4*, pick someone with a 3* to pick on.

It is not the arena, it is Ultron.

Sorry, meant I cracked top 250(same rewards though).

Total was between 465-470k. IIRC. Wound up 212th overall.

It is not the arena, it is Ultron.

Yes, the Ultron update has been screwing up the ap. At least the rewards are nice lately.

Wanted the 3 Star crystal instead of the 3 Star Thor which was going to be a relatively useless duplicate for me. But I wasn't sure where to stop to be sure to get what I wanted.

Finished at 245...top 250 got the Thor....DOH!

For the record, it was 800,000k in the Medium bracket.

Ughhhhh...I was the complete opposite, and I only got up to around 730k and got the 3 star Crystal instead of the Dup Thor I wanted.

Finished just after the 2nd milestone at 410k, ranked 1077 for a premium crystal prize.

Scores should jump now though as we go from a well established champ to a new release.

Looks like we are back to duels. I am planning on keeping all my crystals saved up for the duping event since there was actually a pretty decent reward for that one. Let's see if the order follows the same path.

The alliance just wasn't active enough for me being on the west coast. And seeing how it's a FBG alliance only, I know how closed off people are about bringing in outsiders so I just decided to leave rather than try to promote change. I'm still around and will post in this thread.

Well, if we find there are some consistently non-participating folks I wouldn't be opposed to ousting them and bringing back Doc and some premier recruits to help with these events.

Yes you can repeat the same duel all 5 times.

The most recent ultron quest got me 420 for running it. Did versus just looking for Ultron and found a trio of them. I got 2265 for them, so at least in the 4-star tourney, much better point pay off.

I was on win streak 4. Pulled out a trio of 4-star hoping for Ultrons. Didn't get any.

So I tried the back arrow, which ends your win streak but if it left my 3 heroes still able to fight, I could just keep repeating matchmaking at 0 wins to get all ultrons.

Unfortunately it didn't. It set them all on the 2 hour refresh.

Arena Ultron has Red attack and it is brutal.

Real bad timing for this, I went into today needing 8 Mystic catalysts: 1 tier 3, 3 tier 2, 4 tier 1. I got the tier 2 I needed to rank my 4 star and punted the rest to focus on Ultron.

Edit: And remember there is a display bug when turning in multiples. It only shows you the result of the first crystal to give you gold, but it gives you the correct amount on your total.

Ultron does. And it's like 15 hits, and they're all devasting. I found him once in an arena (3 star Ultron with 2 3 star drones). I wasted the drones and was looking good against Ultron when he pulled the red special and wiped me from 3/4 health to dead in one long cut scene.

Gold crystals. I'm awaiting their return to the crystal store. They're 10 units and pay out a fair amount. They show up every couple days.

use Greg's method above to find drones (and maybe Ultrons, but 2* drones for sure at 40 points each).

Basically enter a team of 3 into the 2* and check the choices for opponents. If Ultron or drone isn't there, back out (lose your 0 win streak) choose another team and search, cycle through all teams, takes a few minutes plus the one or two drone matches you'll find.

We'll be lucky if we reach the 75 unit level before the end unless they change stuff and make it easier to get points.
