Tempted to take a shot at the 4*, but I need dupes of both BlackBolt and Hawkeye's 3* and I know I can hot them if I try.

I think the 4 star is completely reasonable. I think the 3 star still has a little too much grind.

Have the rank rewards changed?

No...I completely think the going for the 4-star Hawkeye is the way to go.

For 500-100 credits you get 135 back, 7 crystals, and the 4-star....plus all the arena credits which is probably good for another 400-500 credits. If you have some time, it's nice.

Where do you see Hawkeye? My arenas are for Black Bolt

I probably sound like a Kabam employee by this point, but that's one of the many steps in the right direction I have seen with this massive game changing update. Good stuff.

I wouldn't read too much into that Ten, I'm pretty sure it's said that since yesterday with the update. It's also said coming soon for the "base" option in alliance for months now. I hope I'm wrong but I'm trying to hold back on excitement for that.

Which isn't horrible if you didn't have him unlocked at all. But makes the usefulness of getting him from a milestone low if you have him already.

See but the point is that you know EXACTLY how hard you have to work to get a 4* Hawkeye. That alone is huge progress for Kabam.

Maybe you don't have a Skill 4* hero yet....and you've heard good things about Hawkeye....all you have to do now is invest the time and maybe units and you can have him...nothing can stop you except your own lack of commitment. That's a massive improvement for this game.

Now for me personally I have Hawkeye and Black Bolt both at x16 as a 3*. So I'll be skipping this arena but I'm looking forward to the next one.

I'm already well on the way to 3* hawkeye who is a new champ for me so it's still worth it for now I suppose. I'll do it for champs I don't have or that aren't awakened. Maybe they'll change that? 8 teams, and generally 10-12 win streak before the difficulty gets out of control

You know, something about the update kind of partially drew me back in. A bit. Maybe it's more that I'm working on some stuff where I have slow moments and I can sit here and do fights between.

But having to grind for gold is getting really, really, really old.

I hope they address it in the next update.

Just a thought on this - we still have over a day and a half left for this event. For a number of folks, they have no need for an alpha crystal at this point (myself included). Additionally, there are some folks who just aren't equipted to put up some of the larger numbers some of the guys are putting up. What you're going to need to reach that final milestone if a number of the larger 3 and 4 star rank ups - the 2 star rank ups aren't going to cut it.

My proposal - dump a bunch of folks (myself included) till this event is finished and pull in some heavy hitters from global to reach this goal. Afterwards, folks can come back.

As I said, we've also discussed creating another more casual alliance. That way people could move back and forth. For example if you know you'll be busy for a week or however long, you move over to that one. Or if in general you're not very active you'd just stay in that one.

Blew my wad on 4* rank ups. I have one alpha left but am saving it for Iron Fist as I don't have a purple 4* rated that high. And my 4 or 5 attempts at a purple class cat this last week all came up with nada, so...

I noticed the tier 4 grey cat is a 1.1mil milestone reward in the basic catalyst clash. How tough is it to get that in the current scoring?

I'd almost consider going for it, but the first time you need one for a 4*, you have to have 3 of them plus an alpha. Frankly just not worth it to me at this point. If it was just 1 I'd probably invest the time.

I think one of the new masteries is something to get you a little more gold, but it will probably be 4 stoney things to get a 1% increase in the gold you win from quests.

The top middle display that is shared between quest energy, alliance points and battle chips (the shield that is beige with a blue stripe down the middle).

You get them mostly for winning arena fights, and can turn them in 2000 at a time for arena crystals. Arena crystals gives gold, credits, some Iso, and quest energy powerups for the most part, when opened.

There is a Sunday tournament that costs 2500 battle chips to enter, so a lot of people keep that many unspent all the time.

Don't rank up your 1* heroes, save your ISO (the rock looking things) for your higher guys.

I have like 65 units and I thought it allowed me to get a 1-2* guy. I sold someone named Vision to see about getting a 2* but now I cant seem to locate where to get another shot at a new guy.

I had a bunch of stuff in my stash so I upgraded some 1* guys--I didn't notice the timer until after.

Any easiers wasy to join an Alliance? I only see one and its full...

I setup a second FBG alliance for those that will be inactive for a period of time or to have a plan for the less active players to stay during certain rush events. Hopefully we can get some movement between the two especially during easier events when the maximum rewards have already been reached in the main alliance.

Yep, confirmed. 2* is at 30k, ridiculously easy to get. I did one full run of all my guys last night and got to 160k. Should be easy for me to get 250k with not much effort with 24 hours left. Last milestone is at 750k, wonder how high the scores for the 4* will be since you probably will have to wait another 4-5 months for a chance to dupe him in another of these events.

Probably one each in those first 2 offense slots for now. I don't think we really have a consensus on where to put them yet.
