Marvin Harrison : Dungy to Bears: Harrison would fit in Chicago
08/19/2009 01:37 PM
THE NEWS
Former Colts coach Tony Dungy advised the Chicago Bears to sign his former player Marvin Harrison on Wednesday, according to ESPN Chicago.
OUR VIEW
Harrison has had an offseason fraught with murky legal issues, and has played just 20 games the past two seasons. Still, it's hard to believe one of the most sure-handed receivers in NFL history can't catch anymore, and he could provide a huge veteran boost for a lot of teams, especially the Bears.
Is he worth picking up? Chicago doesn't have much talent at WR. He could become a reliable target for Cutler.

There is alot of youth in the Bear's WR corp, having a veteran like Harrison around who can teach and instill good work habits throughout practices would be very beneficial even if Marvin isn't a force on Sundays.
