Marvin Jones: Quietest 10 TD season ever? (1 Viewer)

This kid is just 23 years old, has good size, amazing hands, is targeted heavily in the redzone, plays opposite AJ who draws all the attention, has only just recently started to receive full starters snaps as the Bengals #2 WR, has scored a TD in 7 different weeks for those who point to his 4 TD week as padding his stats and managed to snag 10 total TD's in just his second NFL season...yet nobody seems to care. Marvin Jones is a legit talent if there are still any doubters.

I worry that those TDs could be an aberration. Id like him a lot better if Sanu was out of the picture. The Bengals seem to limit his role instead of let him be a true number two, but give him a full time role and he is in a good situation. Still he seems too far down the pecking order to count on 10 TDs again right now.....seems somewhat similar to James Jones last year...

Sure, the TD's will always be hard to duplicate, but he's only just started to finally get full WR2 snaps the past 2 or 3 weeks. I don't think he ever came out today and it's been a sharp rise of late in snaps. Overall, I think he's just scratching the surface now that Gruden has finally shown some faith in him.

I think Michael Jackon/Dyson had a season like this one. Mushy Muhammad comes to mind as well.

I like the kid, but I'm not quite sure he'll every reach this total again. He is a great red zone target though.
