Master Dynasty League Needs One Terrific Owners (1 Viewer)

10-PLUS-years dynasty leagues looking to review potential owners.

Hi there.

I’m on the hunt for one terrific owner to jump into a lonnnnnnng-standing dynasty league. Some of us have been playing together for 25 years. Yes, we’re an older group and have seen it all. We’re looking for a similar type of owner. Someone who believes he’s seen it all…trust me, you haven’t. Not until you’ve joined one of my leagues. Email: the.laganas@gmail.com

If you want to see the comprehensive info on the site, email me. Also, understand that you’d be jumping into two leagues at once. I prefer the same owner for each league.

I am prepared to send out the league by-laws for review, if you’re at all interested. Take heed, but the league is complex and daunting to begin and not for the faint of heart. (Sorry for the dramatics but it’s also accurate.)

My leagues are designed specifically for those who’ve been playing forever and want to try something new than the standard stuff. We don’t play for money (because we’re competitive enough). Dues are 9 dollars per league; so 18 total. That’s it.

Here’s the skinny on my leagues.

1.       Head-to-head dynasty setup

2.       Most owners have been playing with me, in some form or another, for 20 years. My leagues on MyFantasyLeagues have been in play for more than 10 years. We are generally a very stable group, but some are retiring from fantasy leagues.

3.       Rosters are deep, 50 in one league and 58 in the other. Rosters recognize almost every spot on the field. We have offensive position of course and individual defensive positions. We separate DTs from DEs and CBs from SSs. We include punters and a head coach. Yep, we’re that accurate.

4.       Rules are complex but the closest you will ever see to true football. They were written specifically for each player of the field. This is to say that a DE’s scoring rule is different than a DTs. This is to balance them out in terms of value for drafting and trading purposes. We even include penalties as a measure of performance for players. Every penalty credited to your player is counted (moderately) against him. As I wrote, we’re shooting for as much realism as we can get.

5.       We have a pre-season auction for FAs, then our slow, email draft for rookies and any remaining FAs. Rookie draft values are determined by the spot you draft them in. So, the round 1, pick 1 stud will have a higher starting salary assigned to him than the round 1, pick 16 (you hope) stud. Salary rates drop down each pick and then round as the draft moves on.

There is MUCH more to explain but that would be an even larger posting. Again, I can email bylaws and letters from last season to provide the truer picture as to what the leagues are like.

I’m looking for owners that are committed to sticking around for years. We’re a competitive bunch without the need for howling or chest-bumping. This, in large part, due to the fact that we’re mostly old dudes. We’re playing as much for the comradery as the bragging rights.

Hit me up at: the.laganas@gmail.com and we can get to know one another and see if you’re a good fit.
