Dwayne Bowe

Tony Gonzalez

Todd Haley

Maybe a stud tackle prospect at 1.03

Potentially horrible defense as they transition to a 3-4.

Go.

I went with 6-10. He was QB8 in my scoring last year, and Thigpen QB12, so I don't buy the "won't have Moss/Welker" argument. He will put up big numbers with Haley calling the shots.

I say he gets to about QB10; KC's #s maybe throwing people off some. Thig played against some bad Defenses last yr when he took over.

Out those games listed, TB & @ Oak were Thigpen's 2 toughest Defense he played. The TB game not to bad Stat wise but the Oak gane is very bad.

The Fin game is a little surprising, very nice game from the kid in the nice weather on FF Championship week

I'll go on record as saying I agree with JPeso...I absolutely LOVE where Cassel landed as long as they continue to invest their draft picks into the OL.I think the plan is to get better on offense first, work on bringing up the defense but that might have a 2-3 year plan...the offense could be ready to roll as soon as this season.

@ Bal / Pit / Dal / NYG / @ Was / @ Jax looks a lot harder this yr... staying w/ QB 11 - 15 for the 1st yr

Looking at season end fantasy ranks isn't that useful for predicting how they'll do the next year. I like to figure out how many adjusted games the QB played, adjust their FP for SOS, and then see their ADJ FP/ADJ G. That's my benchmark.

I don't have the time to do SOS analysis, so here's the leaders in FP/ADJ G. Both Cassel and Thigpen look pretty good, although I'm sure at least Cassel will fall after adjusting for SOS.

I like Cassel in NE, but I have a gut feeling he is going to struggle in KC.

I have no date to back up my feelings though.

Cassel is the second coming of Scott Mitchell, good luck KC
I think people need to give Scott Pioli (perhaps the man most responsible for the Pats dynasty) and Josh McDaniel (former Pats OC) the benefit of the doubt. Both of these guys saw enough of Cassell to think he could be their respective franchise QB. They spent alot of time watching him in practices and games and both treid to bring him with them in their new pursuits. To me that says something and it kind of makes Scott Mitchell irrelevant since no one that watched him play brought him over. Not to mention Scott Mitchell had a HUGE first season and decent second season with Detroit (look it up).I voted 11-15, but w/o really doing projections yet I can see him around QB 10-11.

I went with 6-10. He was QB8 in my scoring last year, and Thigpen QB12, so I don't buy the "won't have Moss/Welker" argument. He will put up big numbers with Haley calling the shots.
Thigpen ran for a lot of points. His fantasy ranking doesn't really tell you anything about Cassel.

Cassel had more carries than Thigpen did last year. Thigpen was more productive with his carries, but only by 13 fantasy points.
