I weep for whichever guy starts in Week 1 @ BAL -- It may be like taking bets on a dead pool. "Which KC QB escapes BAL with his marbles intact? Thigpen, Croyle, Guttierez, or none of the above?"

At this rate, I will take "None of the above"

I look for KC to get a goose egg in the first game.

Chiefs | Cassel could be out two to four weeks Sun Aug 30, 08:01 PM

Jason Cole, of Yahoo! Sports, reports Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Cassel (knee) has a strained MCL in his right knee and he could miss two to four weeks, according to a team source. The injury is not expected to require surgery, but he could miss the team's Week 1 game. QB Tyler Thigpen would start if Cassel is unable to play.

Does this downgrade Bowe much? Or does it matter given the # of targets he see's and possession type routes...?

I would actually hope it would drop him down. if I thought I could get him in the 4th, I'd jump on him (PPR).
If he's only out for the Baltimore game (or less) I don't see that it would make a difference at all. Even if he's out four weeks, it's still just three of 16 games so Bowe will possibly have a lesser QB throwing to him for less than 20% of the games. Doesn't seem like it would change much at all.
