Matt Hasselbeck (1 Viewer)

As you all know, Matt had a stellar outing yesterday, scoring 5 times against the Giants. Then again, every QB has looked great against the Giants this year.

If Alexander is out for an extended period of time (broken foot)....do you see Hasselbeck's fantasy production increasing or decreasing. I'm tempted to trade for him in a few redraft leagues, but the play of the O-line & Defenses not having to game plan for Alexander concern me. I believed that Seattle's poor outing against the Lions was just a blip on the radar screen after week 1....but Hasselbeck's subpar output in Week 2 made me rethink my position. Dodds has Hasselbeck very, very high in his Top 250 Forward. Matt would be the 11th ranked QB through 3 weeks in a basic yardage/TD scoring format through the first 3 weeks. Does he finish closer to top 5.....stay where he is now.....or does he go down hill from here? What are your thoughts?

Without a doubt you can expect his numbers to be better than your predictions, although 5 TD's is the high end of his potential production for any given game.

Now that Alexander is out

Hasslebeck will continue to put up very solid numbers. In my opionion Alexander's injury puts him in the top 5 QB's from here on out, where as he was top 10 prior.

The ealy winners here are the ones who think they get Mo, but the true winners are us Hasselbum owners as we now have Djax and Branch as 1 and 2 with Burleson and Engram fighting it out for 3 and 4 wideouts! Go Hawks!

Sure. Teams always see increased production in the passing game when their top back goes down.
