It truly seems to me that Shaun Alexander has lost a step. He is a solid RB, but wont be putting up many more huge games. Losing Stong wont help any either. Hasselbeck is a solid QB, and in a few weeks will have more weapons than he will know what to do with. Branch and Hackett should be back full go in a few weeks. Engram, Burleson and obomanu are all solid WRs.
Upcoming games include STL x2 (10*), Clev (29 ), SF (16), ARI (17), Chi (23), Phi (9), Car (21)
(#) = ranked pass yards defense. STL isnt that good, just no need to pass on a team when your crushing them.
Only bad thing is that Sea plays Baltimore week 16. However it is a home game FWIW.
For the past few seasons the Seahawks won because of a strong running game and very solid D uint. The running game isnt what it once was and The D side of the ball has been less than stellar this season.
I forsee some tighter games with a good deal of passing late. Alexander isnt the lock to get the ball inside the 10 as he once was. I think Hasselbeck will be a good to great play for the rest of the season.
I have not watched a lot of Seattle games this season, So I am hoping to get some more opinions on this. 1. is Alexander really as bad as his numbers are showing? 2. Does Hasselbeck have the ability to carry a team if needed? 3. Do the Hawks still have a top 10 D unit, or are the best days behind them?
