Now that bye weeks are over and given Vicks injury history is it a wise move for us Vick owners to dump your current backup for Matt Schaub. Obviously if you have Kitna, Rivers, Grossman as a backup, no. But I'm sure many Vick owners have one of the below backups:

McNair

Frye

Pennington

Big Ben

Plummer

Losman

B.Johnson

Gradkowski

Young

Harrington

Is it not reasonable to expect Schaub to outperform the above QBs if he was forced to play?

In reading that... it's strange how a year changes things. Rivers, Grossman, Kitna... worthless before the season started for most.

I am in the group that believes Schaub is pretty overrated and his one good game is just dwelling in the minds of fantasy players.

All I can really tell you is don't mortgage the house for Matt Schaub. Don't dump a quality backup for him.

Of the guys you mentioned though, I'd take him over all of them. None of those guys are quality backups IMO except for possibly McNair, but I just plain don't like him in Baltimore right now, and he's due for an injury soon.
