With Big Ben on a bye- I'm wondering if my backup will be ready to go this week-or if I'll need to make a trade.

Any injury news on the kid?

Heard yesterday, on either NFLN or ESPN, that they won't bring him back to practice until he's almost pain free and he's still in a lot of pain. I don't see him playing. I have subluxed my knee cap a few times, keeps me sidelined for several weeks (take that for what it's worth, I'm not an NFL player nor have access to the rehab technology).

I doubt there will be any news until tomorrow's practice. I would consider it a big red flag if he doesn't practice fully Wednesday.

Schwartz said on the lions radio show last night that he thinks both Stafford and Johnson have a good shot to play this weekend. Take a guess if you believe him or not.

Do we even know what the problem is with Johnson other than an MRI was done & it was nothing "significant"?
