I don't want to name names, but one staff member took 30 minutes to draft a guy in the 17th round. And trust me, it wasn't worth the 30 minutes. :cX:

Hehe methinks this will be recalled later after we spank ya... :rotflmao: But in all seriousness, the draft, at least the one I was in, WAS taking forever. Took us what? 5 hours?! Eeesh... I can understand thinking through picks, and even some technical difficulties, but geez, some picks took 5, 10, 15 minutes...

the staff apparently were the only ones smart enough to realize that it's better to take some extra time and make a good pick rather than rush through a draft and end up with a team like Sinrman's.when the end of the year comes and most of the message board guys are sitting on the sidelines, nobody's going to remember or care how fast your selections were made. P.S. I agree the draft took too long. I held things up on one pick but I'd still take a slow and strong draft over a fast and weak one anyday. With survivor style, there is no chance to change your roster once the draft is over so you have to make every pick count. Considering all the prize money and bragging rights that were on the line here, it made sense to me that people would be pretty deliberate with their selections. As long as we finished in time for sandbagger to make his date, seems like everything worked out fine. Only person who got a little testy was grouse, but it's understandable after you check out his roster. Wouldn't be a shocker if his kids got online and made a few selections for him.

It would be absolute chaos if others could be in the draft room with us...Round by round won't be so bad, will it?  

Just to view? You don't have to allow others to post in it. You can set-up chat rooms so only certain people can post in them. I won't be around anyway, but it would be nice to see the drafts without waiting 2 months or so. At the speed the player spotlights get posted at I'm sure it will take a bout a week or two per round.

It won't be two months. We will release two rounds a day starting Friday June 11th. The entire drafts will be displayed with commentary on the strengths and weaknesses of the players plus draft strategy by June 21st.

troublemaker! from a look at their selections, my fellow staff members obviously had no use for the extra time. your roster on the other hand....

You know, just because a monkey can make the picks for you doesn't necessarily mean that he will make good picks.

I guess we'll just have to wait for the draft to be posted so LHUCKS can explain all that you did wrong.
