MBSL2 - I Have A Life League:

A normal MBSL league with an 8 hour draft timer. The clock will be suspended from midnight EDT until 8 AM EDT and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. No penalty for timing out.

hey genius, your post was at 7:39 ####### am PST. some of us on the best coast are doing chores or maybe even getting up at that time of day. we don't cry "streetlights" out here either........the bars close at 2am (and for those of you who failed 2nd grade math.... that's 4am in IL) Next time i see you posting that late, I'll get off your back..

Thank you - I truly appreciate the compliment, but I assure you I'm no genius - I only play one on T.V. I'm sure Fro appreciates you protecting his honor, though. Speaking of "Genius," I posted at 10:39 Central time... minus two hours time difference... carry the one... yup - I think that makes it 8:39 ####### am PST, not 7:39. Did you fail 2nd grade math, too? OK, before this really starts to get ugly for no reason ("best" coast? chores?? streetlights???) and you start dissing me to your classmates on MySpace, I'm sorry if my post offended you. to clarify my post,1. i am wrong with the time...i thought the timer on the message board was on EST2. i do have "chores" to do in the morning.....we have a horse ranch out here in Oregon3. with my 20 year reunion comming up next year, i serously doubt any of my classmates know of MySpace.4. the west coast is better than the east side (better beaches, better looking women, no hurricanes, closer to Hawaii, less crowded, etc)5. i get a little bent when those outside the PST start crying about us westcoasters not getting up early to be team players, and always cry "streetlights" when the role is reversed.no harm, no foul.....i like the SH++ talking, so don't go "brady bunch" on us.......keep it up...and 6. i have to giveyou props for your squad so far. you should be quite well this season.good luckeric

Fair point, but this is the first time I have come close to using all of my time and it's because I was out for the night (sox vs yankees). It's not like we had a line up at 11:54 to make several picks nor has the next guy made a pick yet.

Ref I was just tryin to get more picks in during the night which didnt work out anway. I dont think theres a penalty for timing out so its not a big deal. Wasn't my intention to "call you out" as you have been a fast drafter. Just tryin to move things along.
 
I am leaving here at about 10:30 EST. Will be gone for a few hours.

I hate holding things up - so if the one guy up before me doesn't make his pick between now and 10:30 - can someone take a PM for me?

Sounds good to me. This draft is terrible. I'm starting to think Bass should just put us all out of our misery, and just shut it down. No way we finish before the season starts at this pace, and it's obvious by the lack of participation from some that they could care less anyways.Everyone is always sorry, and has some sort of excuse, but still choose not to use PM's, and continue to hold up the draft. :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

unfortunately the clock is suspended on weekends, so Rudy has until 4 pm ET. Even though nobody has timed out, it's still dissapointing that the draft is taking this long

Yo guys...this is the mellow league for the guys who don't want to be #####ed at and wanted a slow draft. There were plenty of other clock options to chose from with the other leagues. I went this route for the summer leagues because of all the griping about how fast the drafts moved.
