McCaffery for 1.05, 2.05, and Ebron (1 Viewer)

Was offered this the other day by an RB needy owner. I have a lot of question marks at that position as well as only having Walker as a TE, no back up. Currently have all my draft picks sitting at the 2 spot in each round. Doesn't seem like an unfair trade but not keen on rolling the dice on 2 more picks when I already have one that hit in CMC

It depends on how much you value the TE position and as we all know rookie TE's that do well are few and far between so having Ebron would cover you in that position. You should be able to get a good RB's with your 1.02 pick and 1.05 picks-no it won't be Saquon but between Guice, Jones, Freeman, Chubb and Michel you are probably going to get equal to or better than production out of them then CMC.  I'd do it.

I wouldn't do it. Mccaffrey has already proven he can play. Ebron doesn't bring much of anything. Guice and Mccaffrey are a good combo going forward.

Is this a  PPR league?  That would make this is a no as I would like to roll with McCaffrey and whoever you get at your 1.02 pick.  Right now you are going for the "shiny new toy" bait and I would rather have what I know in McCaffrey.  He is going to get touches and will be just fine.

Also, I am not so sure that Ebron does much for you.  Sure he is depth but you can probably get something just as good in a draft or a different trade for much less.  Stay put.

Can’t believe I forgot to list league refs. Full ppr, pt per 10 carries, 1 qb, 1 rb, 3 wr, 1 te  2 flex.

I generally agree with what you and some others have said it’s the known commodity vs the shiny toys that may be better but odds aren’t in my favor.  In last year’s stacked draft that could’ve been Cook or Kamara and Watson. Or it could’ve been Both of the Williams boys. Going to probably stand pat, don’t like making trades pre-nfl draft anyway unless I’m totally blown away with something like maybe 1.05, 1.08, and more.

I would pass on the deal or counter. Take Ebron out and add a different player you like better or a 2019 1st.
