12 Team PPR dynasty league. Start 1QB/1RB/2WR/1TE/2FLEX/1K.

Should I trade McCaffrey and Snead for Hyde/CJ Anderson/Devante Adams?

Current roster:

Ben/Tyrod

McCaffrey/Crowell/Sims/JonWill

Hopkins/Watkins/Snead/TyrellWill/Hurns/Caroo

Eifert/Clay

Haushka

I would stay put.  I like McCaffrey much better long term and think Snead will have a sneaky PPR year this year bringing him and Adams closer than many will think.

I would accept that in a heart beat without thinking twice.  You're trading 2 complete unknowns, 1 with absolutely 0 proof hell ever be anything, and 1 mediocre receiver for two proven rb 2's and a future WR1 playing with the best qb in the game....

ALso if you use https://www.fantasypros.com/2017/05/fantasy-football-dynasty-trade-value-chart/
it has both hyde and adams worth more than mccaffery and CJ only 1 point less.  YOu're literally gaining INSANE value.

Hyde is an injury prone RB that has an entire new coaching staff in place that didn't choose him.  CJ Anderson is injury prone and has quite a bit of competition in the backfield and may not be the primary guy.   I wouldn't say these guys are proven RB's for the future.

McCaffrey is an unknown but he is filling a spot that team needs.  The upside for PPR is quite high and I believe better than the upside of either Hyde or Anderson.  Snead is also in a new situation with Cooks gone and has one of the best QB's in the game throwing to him.   It's not unreasonable to believe that Snead catches 80-90 balls this year and performs fairly close to Adams.   Adams still has to compete with a healthy Jordy and healthy Cobb and now Bennett for targets.  I wouldn't be surprised with some regression from last year.

Bottom line is this hinges on your evaluation of McCaffrey vs Hyde/Anderson.  Personally, I would rather go with the potential of McCaffrey.

I would keep McCaffrey and Sneed.  I think Hyde is really underrated at this point, but he has injury issues so I prefer McCaffrey by a decent amount at this point.  I don't particularly like Anderson and while I like Adams more than Sneed, Sneed is no slouch.  I think it's a fair deal, but I still prefer the McCaffrey side because I think the difference between McCaffrey and Hyde/Anderson is a little bigger than the difference between Sneed and Adams.

It's a pretty fair offer....but I pass on that as well.  With fair deals, I want the player with the most upside....that player here is McCaffrey.

Hyde has always been a tease, Adams had a career year that likely will never be duplicated competing with Nelson, a healthy Cobb and Bennett for targets, and CJ Anderson is also injury prone has now has to compete with Booker and Charles for carries.  Plus the DEN offense isn't that powerhouse that we saw a few years ago.

McCaffrey could be a PPR stud, where Hyde doesn't catch too many passes.  Snead could emerge as a force in NO, especially with Michael Thomas getting all the attention as the #1 option.

I really like what McCaffrey brings to the table, I would hang onto him.  Plus CJ has yet to play a full season so you can only count on him for about 5-7 games.

This is extremely interesting. Based on the other answers so far, I'm a lot higher on Adams than other people are. I think he is a lot better than Snead. I don't think its crazy that Adams ends up being the Packers #1 WR in the very near future, as soon as 2018.

That said, McCaffery checks every box, and frankly should pull more in a trade. He's a potential RB1 as soon as this year, and while I like Hyde a lot, he has more risk.

I rank the players in this deal as follows: McCaffery, Adams, Hyde, Snead, Anderson. So its a fair deal, but I'd hold out for more for CMC.
