McCoy trade (1 Viewer)

gambla

Footballguy
I get:  Woodhead, Baldwin, Gronk

I give:  McCoy, Landry, Eifert

14 team PPR

QB:  Wilson, Luck

RB: DJ, Howard, McCoy, Hill

WR: Hopkins, Landry, Garcon, Doctson

TE: Eifert

I don't like that trade for you.  Especially in PPR.  I'd have McCoy ahead of Howard personally.

If Eifert stays healthy he is the best red zone threat in the NFL.  It's a big if but you'd be trading him for someone who is just about as injury prone as Eifert.

And Baldwin isn't a huge upgrade over Landry.  Though he certainly is an upgrade.

I just think you are giving up the best player in the trade.  I don't see anybody in that trade that comes close to McCoy's value.

But it's your team.  If you like Howard that much better than McCoy, then do what you must.

i don't like howard nearly as much as mccoy.  Its a keeper league though and i can keep Howard for two more years beyond this year (6th round next year, 4th the following year).....hence why it's hard for me to trade him away.

Thanks for the reply.  I agree with your analysis.

You alluded to this being a keeper league.  How many players can you keep and what are the keeper status of all those involved in the trade?  This would be helpful for evaluation purposes.

On the surface looking at this just from a redraft point of view I would rather have the McCoy side as RB is usually harder to replace.
