Rookie McFadden returns to Raiders practice

McFadden

Darren McFadden (turf toe) returned to Raiders practice Thursday.

The team hasn't disclosed how much McFadden will do in the workout, but his chances of playing at Buffalo just went way up. An active McFadden would be very hard to sit, even if he's a shaky bet to make it through the entire game. Oakland figures to run like crazy against the Bills on Sunday. Sep. 18 - 2:57 pm et

McFadden returns, Fargas and Kwame sit

ALAMEDA -- RB Darren McFadden was at practice this morning after sitting out yesterday's session with turf toe.

We'll find out how much he actually does in practice in a couple of hours when coach Lane Kiffin gives the injury report.

LT Kwame Harris (knee) and RB Justin Fargas (groin) aren't practicing. Harris has been out since a Denver defender rolled into his leg during the Raiders' season-opening loss.

is anyone planning on starting dmc and/or bush this week anyway? i really can't see them doing much against the bills

I am starting him at RB in one league but my other options are Ryan Grant and Chris Perry.

Bills are ranked at 11 against the rush this year and have faced Seattle and Jacksonville, both teams struggling with their running games right now. If he practices fully and looks prepared to carry a full load, I am starting him.

Good news... can't to hear the next report tonight on what he actually did. Most likely Limited... should be good for about 20 touchs this Sunday

Bills fan here. Bills are definitely better, but this isnt the 1985 Bears defense. The Bills are better, but my goodness it has been 2 games. I am starting Bush, but we start 3rb's and I am benching Maroney and RickyWill, etc.

Interesting. According to threads, turf toe has just ended LT's career and he will never play another down but McFadden is good to go. I bet that both will end up somewhere in the middle.

In related news, Fargas is impacted for either 2 years (Fred Taylor's groin tear recovery period), or "a couple weeks".
