There are A LOT of people seeing this game wishing they had not wasted the pick on him in their fantasy drafts. You could have had Chris Johnson 3-5 rounds later

I know, its too soon but.......
McFadden wobbles when he runs. He doesnt plant his feet properly and his momentum carries him out of control. I dont think his legs are strong enough to keep himself balanced when hes going through traffic. I noticed this a couple of years ago about Cedric Benson too. He would get this full head of steam and seem like hes stumbling forward. I dont think McFadden will be as doomed as Benson was by far. But I definitley think McFadden is more of a widereceiver than a runningback. Its definitley a body control, quick cut issue,. McFadden cuts hard and his body pulls him in that direction more than he can steer. Not watching the game now, just looking over his preseason and college runs on video.
ADP has full control of his body.
Basically McFadden falls into running with his upperboady pulling the rest of him forward, ADP runs with his legs centered under him supporting his whole body and movement. BIG difference IMO.

I just posted the same thing on another board. It looked like he got hit on the wrist on that first carry, but he did come back into the game. This offense is horrible so far.

His long run of 10 yards was on a 3rd down play where they needed 17 for a first down. Situations like that sure help the average.
Yeah when your long is 10 yards and you still average 5ypc, seems to be some good consistency on yardage.

Those in redraft leagues are gonna be dis-appointed. This Raider team still has Fargas as the #1....and he did not disappoint with approx 100 yards. Problem is the Raiders D just stinks and so they will be behind a lot in the 2nd half, which makes them into a pass first team in the 2nd half, where they will prefer to have Fargas in for pass blocking and catching passes. Limited touches will make Mcfadden too much of a hit or miss every week. Expect him to be average when you start and then explode for 2 TDs when you bench him....that is how those things work. Every week the league is full of RBs and WRs and QBs that produce as well as the studs....the problem is predicting which week they will produce and when they will not. Guestimating that costs you head to head wins and leads you to the cellar very fast.

Yup, the Raiders OL can run block well. Pass blocking is another story.I'm not a McFadden hater. I am interested to see what he can do. Tonight, he didn't do anything impressive.
