McFadden (1 Viewer)

So what is the deal with McFadden do you hold onto him and hope for the best or do you cut ties all together. He is actually my 3rd RB behind Peterson and Ronnie Brown but when the byes start coming I want the best opportunity with my 3rd RB. Currently Portis or Moreno are on the Waiver Wire.

If Moreno clears waivers this week I will probably dump McFadden for him but I am sure someone else will pick him up first (I am first place so won't get a chance on the waivers)

Robert Gallery will be out another 2 - 4 more weeks. Worth the wait?

Update:

Raiders LG Robert Gallery (broken leg) is healing faster than expected and he says he could return for the Oct. 11 game against the Giants.

That would be way faster than the 4-6 week prognosis Gallery was originally given. He has a steel plate and at least seven screws in his leg right now.

yeah I know it is a 10 team league and each team has a 12 man roster. The waiver wire is loaded at every position. At first I tried to talk the Commish into more rounds in our draft but he was set on this. Funny thing is I actually like it and think it works great. It cost you $5 to pick up a player on the waiver wire each time you do. The prize money keeps growing and growing. For instance you can only roster 1 Def and 1 Kicker if they are on their bye you can pick another up on the waivers but it will cost you $5 and the old kicker/defense goes into the waiver wire.

McFadden appears to be nearly worthless as are almost all Raiders. With the uncertainty at the HC (accused of assault on an Asst) and the problems with injuries to OL, I don't see the situation improving anytime soon. If I owned McFadden I would sell him now for a cup of soup.

I wish I could have gotten a cup of soup for him. I dropped him outright last night and no one has picked him up (open waivers). Nice 6th round pick on my part.
 
I just feel it is too early to give up on him. If the Raiders could get a QB that could even pick up a few first downs here and there I think McFadden's value rises.

In a shallow league like that I would drop him ASAP. Even if you don't get Portis or Moreno, someone like Harrison would be better. I can't see McFadden breaking 100 yards in any game (and I own him in a couple of leagues).

Well, at least I don't have to decide whether or not to keep on throwing him out there.Welcome Leon Washington to my starting lineup. :coffee:Here to hoping that Gallery is back and Russell is benched and Cable is in jail by the time McFadden comes back.

Keep harrison. I dropped DMC for Harrison. The Browns are going to realize that Lewis cannot do it anymore and Harrison is the future.

so, do the Raiders FINALLY wake up and start Bush, or are those putzes going to start Fargas instead ???

Thanks. Someone just dropped Bush on waivers. Wondering if I should drop McFragile for him.

As someone who went WR early in a PPR league and hoping that Moreno/McFadden/Washington would be good enough, I cannot start McFadden until he shows any type of productivity.

He's abyssmal. He should in my mind at least be going for 50 yards rushing, and 5 catches for 25 yards a game. IS THAT ASKING TOO MUCH????
