I looked at all the value accumulated at each position in the NFL in 2009 (using PFR's approximate value formula) and sorted all players who generated value by draft position; I then noted at what point half of the leaguewide value had been generated, and what pick that corresponded to. Here is the median draft position whereby all of the players at that position drafted at or before that pick generated about half of the leaguewide value:
