Mendenhall vs. Ten (1 Viewer)

Looking at this matchup, and it's likely that the Steelers will see a lot of 8 in the box - with that being the case, is Redman a bigger threat to Mendy this week than normal? This is pure speculation, and I'm hoping for some more educated opinions. McFadden put up decent #s agains Ten last week, but that had a lot more to do with the score, and, given the Steelers' defense, this is likely to be a much lower-scoring game. Thanks.

don't understand how Redman gets more of a shot if the defense is tougher . . .
:goodposting: The more talented runner will get more touches - especially against a tough D. Redman is a decent short yardage guy - but Mendy > Redman in all around talent. As an aside Mendy > McFadden too. Just saying.

i believe the OP is saying the steelers will need to air it out more, except in certain short-yardage situations where redman would likely get the carries.and it's not a bad guess to say that if there's only one pittsburgh touchdown to go around that redman stands a decent chance of vulturing it.

Why would this be the case? Redman is not the goal line specialists for the Steelers.

He got enough short yardage looks last week where I think both him and Mendy will get GL looks. Hard to say which it will be though
