GRIDIRON ASSASSIN

Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia reports the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas, 2006. It will be a Monday night game.

So the question is, will T.O. be injured or suspended by then?

Owens' attitude is so spiteful,

That the punishment will be frightful.

Philly's gameplan we already know:

Hit TO, hit TO, hit TO.

That suxor...Mrs. Woodrow is going to be none too pleased about me spending Xmas at the Linc
and you're probably not gonna be too pleased with the three TDs TO is gonna drag down either.

:goodposting: There will not be a game where TO will play harder.

I was down in Philly today, just outside the Linc. I think guys were lining up for that game already. Lots of dolls with Owens jerseys on sticks and lighter fluid. I assume the lighter fluid was for grilling.

I wish they would have scheduled it for earlier in the year. What happens if TO is hurt or one of the teams is having a crappy year .The game would lose all of its juice. Play it week 2 and you can start hyping it now.

Or option 3 - already suspended by then. :bye:

Any of you who think T.O. will do anything stupid this year are just morons. He has millions of reasons to behave, he gets a signing and roster bonus every year.

T.O. is just like a three year old, if you give a bunch of candy in the morning,t hey forget by lunch time. If you give them a little candy throughout the day, they stay happy.....

How many times are the Cowboys going to restructure his contract this year then?

:goodposting: I think him being hurt or the game being meaningless is a very good possibility and will take some of the juice out of the game. The fans will still be extremely fired up, but I agree this game would have been better played in October.

If true, this is absolutely brilliant by the NFL. If TO is injured at the time (as you allude to), I imagine he would have to be severely hurt not to play. Unlike so called studly WRs like Moss, TO can bring game and play well when he's hurt.

Most non-NFC East fans probably couldn't give a rat's ### about this game unless there's play-off implications for both teams.

I'm glad people are excited about it though.

Change candy to beer and that is the same theory my wife uses on me!

the last time Owens played a full season was 2001.

this is simply not true. Casual NFL fans will be all over this game...the media hype will be ridiculous.

It must be big. The west coast is already talking about it.

This game will be in Dallas not Philly. The Philly game will be earlier in the year.
