If you're in a deeper league, it's not good to avoid any rb situation. Don't go drafting any of these guys anytime remotely early, but there is value to be had. I think Jones at worst gets the goal line touches, which makes him my pick of this bunch.

Maurice Drew will be the steal of this draft and will start this year. I would DEFINATELY have him and maybe Jones as insurance.

Interesting Results thus far:

Fred Taylor [ 13 ] [19.12%]

Greg Jones [ 16 ] [23.53%]

Alvin Pearman [ 1 ] [1.47%]

LaBrandon Toefield [ 1 ] [1.47%]

Marcie Drew [ 10 ] [14.71%]

RBBC avoid at all cost [ 24 ] [35.29%]

None of the above [ 3 ] [4.41%]

Total Votes: 68

Greg Jones is in the lead.

Some combination of Taylor/Jones will get the bulk of the Jax carries. If you want to handcuff them to each other, that'd be suitable. Neither will come with a high price.

I suspect Taylor will get the call early and if/when he breaks down, Jones takes over.

From a fantasy standpoint, IMO the whole Jax offense is a mess.

RBBC (Taylor, G.Jones, and others)

WRBBC (J.Smith, Matt Jones, R.Williams, Wilford, and now add the new TE-Mercedes Lewis to the mix)

I said it last year and I'll say it again this yr..............I think Jack Del Rio LIKES this setup of rotating multiple guys and I'm staying away.

(you could have just as easily made the poll about the Jax WRs and gotten similar results)

At the current time avoid at all costs. If you taking a long range veiw do not make the mistake of ignoring Wimbush. Wimbush has more star potential than an RB on the Jags roster not named Fred Taylor. He is still raw but the guy is a special runner.

Fred Taylor [ 23 ] [20.72%]

Greg Jones [ 26 ] [23.42%]

Alvin Pearman [ 3 ] [2.70%]

LaBrandon Toefield [ 1 ] [0.90%]

Marcie Drew [ 13 ] [11.71%]

RBBC avoid at all cost [ 40 ] [36.04%]

None of the above [ 5 ] [4.50%]

updated.

How many of these guys are going to be on the roster on week 1? Its hard to imagine a team keeping 5 RB's (let alone if they keep a separate FB on the roster). I'd think one of them has to be gone.

fred taylro is the only RB on the roster i can envision getting 15+ carries on a consistent basis for the jaguars this year. if/when fragile gets hurt why would anyone expect just one of the other guys to emerge? that would have RBBC written all over it

i'd avoid at all costs (unless fred taylor fell a great deal in ff drafts and made the upside risk worth it)
