MFL Auction Capabilities (1 Viewer)

We're having an auction league for the first time this year, and I was kicking the tires on MFL's functionality. This will be a draft (err...auction) that will be conducted via e-mail, since our group can't get togehter for a live auction.

Do you know anyone who has used this type of draft on MFL? Any preferred settings? Proxy bids...Do you like them?

Any advice is helpful...

Thanks!

No experience with the slow auctions, but I'll add for the benefit of anyone coming in the thread to hear more about MFL auctions...

They had an agreement last year with fantasyauctioneer.com, who have extremely kick-### live auction software. If you have an MFL league you can do your auction on FA and they will transfer the results over for you. In fact I bought an MFL league and an FA league, planning to auction on FA and then move the rosters by hand over to MFL. When I had some problems and mailed FA support and they heard I already had an MFL league, they refunded my FA payment and got with MFL support to transfer things.

Nice. Agree on FA.com. An email auction I would think would likely need to be a blind bid kinda thing, or something similar - otherwise it'd take forever.

Yeah, I think it's blind bid (I have no access to it from work). As soon as someone presents a player to bid on (any owner can present a player), there's 3 days worth of bidding, once the timer expires, the highest bid gets the guy.

I've done the proxy and non-proxy bidding. I like the proxy bidding a little better, if someone really wants a player they have to go over your max bid not just top the existing bid.
