Go.
Seriously? He was ruled out mid week. Lewis beat us at home this year. I was at the game, he showed a lot of strength in the pocket getting away from DL.I didn't realize Manuel was going to be out.
I saw a live shot about 1/2 hour ago of the players warming up and I was like "lame, they're showing footage from an hour ago when only the hard core fanatics were there"Absolutely no one in the stands![]()
These days I think all the stadiums are empty until right before the kick or after the 1st possession as folks are trying to get in from the parking lot. It takes minimum 10-15 minutes to get thru entrance and security.I saw a live shot about 1/2 hour ago of the players warming up and I was like "lame, they're showing footage from an hour ago when only the hard core fanatics were there"Absolutely no one in the stands![]()
There's actually more people in there now than I was anticipating. The weather is ####....just above freezing with ice cold rain...the worst weather for fans, IMO. There were only like 59,000 tickets sold....it is blacked out on local TV.I saw a live shot about 1/2 hour ago of the players warming up and I was like "lame, they're showing footage from an hour ago when only the hard core fanatics were there"Absolutely no one in the stands![]()
I think it should always be an open competition, and I think Lewis and Manuel are fairly equal at this point, all things considered. That said, I don't really see anything out of Lewis that makes me think he's a long-term answer at QB. Manuel, on the other hand, could be that guy.Am I totally crazy for thinking that if Buffalo doesn't draft a QB, that they should give Lewis a chance to compete for the starting job over Manuel?
Yeah, the confidence is huge to me. The fact that he's not a chicken about throwing downfield is a big plus IMO. That's what the offense really needs to have to open up. I'm just sick of seeing the dink and dunk from Edwards to Fitzpatrick and now to Manuel.I think it should always be an open competition, and I think Lewis and Manuel are fairly equal at this point, all things considered. He plays like a guy with nothing to lose...which he pretty much is.Am I totally crazy for thinking that if Buffalo doesn't draft a QB, that they should give Lewis a chance to compete for the starting job over Manuel?
MOP - is it as bad as it seems? I cant watch the game but it doesnt seem our offense can muster much thus far.
We look terrible on offense, no running game which they sorely need today, Tannehill no shots down the field, Hartline dropped an easy catch that would have at minimum been a 40-50 yard gain, might have scored but he flat dropped the football.MOP - is it as bad as it seems? Wallace is catching everything his way even after the big hit early, it might have woke him up. I believe he has 3 catches on this last drive before the half, he seems to be dialed in but on short patterns, would like to see them try a long pass. Thanks for the updates. Keep em coming.
Yep. Complete steal.I love this Robey kid. Other than him getting slaughtered by big receivers in the endzone, he's been phenomenal. Best nickel corner in the league IMO.
Other than Manuel, Whaley's first draft has been a huge success already. Jury is still out on Manuel and obviously a miss there is bigger than anywhere else (although they basically had to go QB and Glennon seems like the only guy that has outplayed him)Yep. I don't know how much of this performance I'd put on him. He's been getting slaughtered with guys in his face all game. And we still don't know if Tannehill is Miami's QB of the future, 30 games into his career.
