Why do Geno and Vick both have passing stats? Geno hurt or benched already?

I don't get it. How do you NOT stack 8 in the box and force Geno to beat you?

Versus Detroit the Jets came out with a jumbo 2 TE set and walked downfield with Ivory. Only got a FG but I was livid - how could the Lions not recognize what was going on DNS adjust. Meanwhile, the Jets never went back to the heavy set again after their successful opening drive.

We always presume coaches are rational, but they may not be the case.

ON that Johnson run, for example, a Dolphinwas in the backfield...Johnson eluded him easily, ran through a relatively small hole, and fell forward with two fish on him for a gain of 4 on what should have been a loss of 2. That's not on the coach

Fire ****ing Philbin. Not only is this way too big for him.....his players don't play for him.

Last year was living proof. And yet again..here we are laying an egg on the road to a piece of crap 2-9 Jets team.

They don't throw down field because Tanny can't throw downfield.....ever.

Wallace = 60MM in wasted dollars.

This is not complicated. You're a HC and you're prepping for the Jets. They're gonna try to establish the run and like to get cute and they'll be lots of jet sweeps and fakes. What else was Miami thinking they would try?

 
It's interesting that as soon as Miami goes to a spread, hurry-up passing attack, Sims comes in and Hartline goes out. So I guess the question is, why does Hartline start? I can only guess that he excels as a downfield run blocker, because he sure doesn't catch a lot of passes.

The Dolphins became more efficient when they stopped throwing the ball more than 20 yards past the line of scrimmage; at one point, Tannehill was the worst in the NFL at long passes. Wallace knows it and PFF has proven it.
