The 1st team Miami Defense completely disrupted the Jacksonville offense the other night. They bottled up the run and consistently applied severe pressure on David Garrard.

Could this D surprise this year and vault up to a Top 10 or even Top 5 defense???

They did look good. The Porter/Taylor combo could put some nice pressure on opposing offenses.

Taylor could be in for a nice rebound. The Redskins are the anit-Patriots when it comes to getting the best out of older big name defensive players.

The Dolphins led the league last year with a +17 turnover ratio. That's significant. The question is, how likely are they to do it again?Chad Pennington threw just 7 INTs, with only WASH better at 6 INTs. Odds are that the TO ratio goes more towards the neutral range and the defense will decline with it to some degree.

I am a firm believer of waiting on drafting a D, so I ended up grabbing Miami in quite a few leagues. Anyone else rolling the dice on the Dolphins this week vs. Atl? We are talking about the team that busted out the wildcat on NE, so I think they may have a plan in store for Atl.
