Details sketchy, RT-J.Martin AWOL since Monday, illness listed on the weekly IR, doubtful tomorrow night. Went nuclear in the cafeteria and started destroying things in it on his way out the door. Dolphins said he is spending time with family.

Miami falling apart right now, Bengals should destroy them tomorrow night as JRS turns into a house of horrors.

Some kind of joke by other players lead to this...I really think there is some connection to what is going on with Pouncey as crazy as that sounds.

Either he's way too sensitive and has serious temperamental issues or his teammates took the joke/prank way too far. Any idea on which it might be? Reminds me a bit of the Prince Amukamara situation when he was a rookie with the Giants.

Rumor is that this guy got a case of the crabs and when he sat down at a lunch table the other players all got up and left him there by himself so "they wouldn't catch it". Knowing football players, I have to think the guy has been needled mercilessly about this. Gift cards to Joe's crab shack, calls from Michael Crabtree, the works.

But come on dude. If I had a dollar for every player that's done a blindfolded situp into a veteran players butt crack, I'd be retired now.

 
Martin "kind of flipped out," and smashed a food tray on the floor of the team lunch room on Monday when a practical joke perpertrated by teammates didn't sit well with him. Teammates apparently walked away from an ill Martin when he sat down near them in the lunch room. And not appreciating the joke, Martin went off ... like into the sunset. And he hasn't returned to the team since.

The Herald has confirmed from two sources the story is accurate.

Martin is said to be getting "treatment" for an unknown problem away from the team, a Dolphins source confirmed for the Miami Herald.

The source said the behavior is probably evidence of deeper issues. The "treatment" Martin is seeking is apparently emotional treatment/counseling.

[Update 1: Martin has seemed "more aloof" in recent days prior to the incident Monday, a teammate just texted. This teammate said he's reached out to Martin and has been told the player is spending time with his family.

Back on topic, there is massive dissension in the locker room according to Adam Beasley...HEY WHAT THE BLEEP?! I thought they were having this problem up along the Treasure Coast, good Lord has Florida lost itself.

Jacksonville/Miami/Tampa Bay have now lost 18 games in a row.

There has to be some serious fallout and #### with Pouncey, it all started when he got subpoenaed i new England last week which BTW he also hurt himself prior to the game in warm ups but was still able to take the field...I just think something huge is about to surface and the same kind of microscope that happened to NE could be on the way in Miami.

Something bizarre happening, miami has lost a bunch of games before so I'm not sure why the locker room is having such a fallout right now. Something is rotten in Denmark.

 
Martin is in a mental hospital as we speak/type. I would say he is going to be gone for a good long while and certainly out tomorrow. This is terrible, time for the whole regime to get the frack out of Miami.

The fan base here at FBG was fired up like no tomorrow when miami was free spending and taking chances in the draft. Almost none of those signing has panned out well, none of the draft picks are playing from the 1st 3 rounds of that draft, the best offensive player they had in Reggie Bush is putting together a potential career year in Detroit. Great job frackers.

Brilliant move by Martin here. He went to Stanford. He's a smart guy. He sees the team going down, feigns a meltdown and bounces. This will be his last year as a Dolphin and he'll sign to a better run organization next year. Sorry Fin fans. You have to respect the move by Martin here though.

No such thing as a crazy-stupid guy. Tough to translate this spanish proverb...."no ay loco pendejo".

 
I assume he's talking about him getting subpoenaed in (one of?) the Hernandez investigation(s) after the Patriots game on Sunday. Not sure why he'd suspect a guy who went to Stanford and never played with Hernandez would have anything to do with that.

Local radio talked about Pouncey earlier this week, said Pouncey could be up on a charge of weapons trafficking. Him and his brother up in Pittsburgh both could be in some legal trouble surround the whole AH scandal.

Ah Goly gee.....so glad our genius GM Jeff Ireland passed on Dez Bryant (and we could have had Bryant and Marshall) traded Brandon Marshall on Philbins request (genius just genius), as both were considered mentally instable. Dez had a hooker for a mother, Marshall was just plain nuts.

So instead.....we draft Pouncy who is proving to be a thug off the field, and now Jonathan Martin who is also now unraveling.....comes from a Harvard family, Stanford educated.....what can go wrong?

The worst thing is that when the Dolphins "fire them all", they will just hire new pricks who have to sell off talented players on the roster to get their guys in. Marshall, Long, Bush, Dansby, and Smith were all run off by Philbin for a pair of 3rds. All having great years elsewhere. Idiots.

 
From a football stand point, does Miami get blown out tonight, or circle the wagons and make a game of it?

I would imagine there are some stiff sentences for some of that. Then you gotta answer to Goodell.

 
Count me in as one that believes Maimi wins tonight.

Tannehill is still a young and semi raw QB. He is going to have a good game tonight and Mimai beats Cincy at home.
