Four straight games with 8 or more solo tackles sure looks like a trend. I just have always questioned whether a SLB can continue the production. I'm not sure he can despite these games. His value is really high right now, and it's a lot higher than his true value in my opinion.

He has made himself into a very good all-around backer, with significant improvement in each of his two NFL offseasons.
The boxscore pace is absolutely ridiculous though and will be the headline of this week's Reading the Defense column. It's not sustainable, but an all-time best SLB finish could be.

Isn't Boley a Free Agent after this season? He played both WLB & SLB in college and excelled at both. I'd love to see him get moved over, but as well as he's played in that position and as tough as it is to get SLB's that are that productive I don't see it happening in Atlanta despite their woes at the WLB position.
this is just his 3rd year in the league so he'll be a restricted free agent and is unlikely to change teams.Hoodoo said:
