Michael Bush a sneaky play? (1 Viewer)

I gotta gut feeling Michael Bush might do some damage against the Chargers at home. I think he gets the majority of carries over "My toe hurts" McFadden and you know the Raiders never stop running.

Starting him over Ryan "Show me Something, Anything" Grant.

100+1TD is my estimate with a little upside on the yardage.

Anyone else taking a chance on Bush?+who are you benching?

DMAC owner here. Thought about Bushy against SD, but see redux of Week One against DEN, so I will take my chances with Slaton instead. Slaton's highlights on NFL.com are impressive to say the least.

Parallel universe.. DMac, Bush, & Slaton owner here. Also going with Slaton.Same reason as last week. More often than not I'll take the guy I know is going to get touches, and hope for the best.

Bush could be the sneaky play, but also risky imho.

I was just going to come in here and post this. Likely gone in any dynasty leagues, but in redraft leagues he is probably still out there. McFadden at best will have tot ake an injection shot. I think thr Raiders OL will be able to get some push on San Diego, this could be a very sneaky play that nets you arouund 75/TD if things go right.

A not so sneaky play if the game is competitive eating.

LOL

I wouldn't expect a ton against SD. I think SD is still angry and will punish Oakland.

We all like Bush, but don't take Ryan for Granted.I've got both and wouldn't even consider benching Grant for Bush, especially since all the indicators are that Grant is finally 100%

I thought about it but in the end I ended up benching Bush in favor of Grant. By all accounts the guy is finally healthy. He hasn't been limited in practices and they're talking about giving him 20+ carries.

I'm still debating starting him at my flex spot. The other choices are C.Perry and S.Young. I'm leaning towards Perry right now....

I am hoping. I have Gore and Taylor in... with Westbrook as a Game Time Decision. I can't rely on Westy, so I am going to throw Bush in there.

Yeah, I activaed him from my DTS this week in a 16 team dynasty league with Jacobs and Ward on a bye and K Smith's status in limbo. Rice doesn't look like an option even if McGahee doesn't play. Ah well, this roster is in full rebuild mode anyway... I got no shot, but I still want to remain competitive and not play for a high draft pick.

Me three. Same boat, also going with Slaton vs. Jags. Wish I would have had the guts to go with Slaton last week, but I drank the FBG/MOP Sammy Morris kool-aid, and it cost me. Hoping the Slaton kool-aid digests a little easier. I'd be happy with double digits.

I guess performance isn't much of an indicator.I still start Grant over Bush.

Update: McFadden (toe, questionable) will again have a pain-killing injection Sunday and will start against the Chargers assuming he warms up well enough, the Oakland Tribune reports. “We’ll push him and act as if he’s fine,” coach Lane Kiffin said. “Once he starts showing he’s not 100 percent, we’ll pull back as a safety measure and go with Michael (Bush) and make sure he doesn’t get knocked out in the game so he can come back (after the bye) with (Justin) Fargas.”
