Footballguys reports that headcoach Kiffin says Bush may be activated in Week 7....

Any thoughts out there on if he contributes in 2007 or if they just get him primed for 2008?

lol - nice....I like these fly under the radar players....I'll keep quiet - been toying with picking him up...

I mentioned this in another thread

Raiders RB depth after MBush is activated. And he shouldn't be. But might.

Lamont Jordan

Dom rhodes

Justin Fargas

Griffith

Micheal Bush

Cpep is vulturing goaline TDs. And the Raiders throw inside the 5 yard line. 3 targets inside the 5yards line vs miami. Porter TD. Curry just missed. Mike Williams TD called back because of OPI(Terrible call by the ref).

NFL largest RBBC. Name another Rbbc as large as this. Avoid...avoid. 5 rbs all gettin carries and rec targets. Not worth a roster spot. Will have zero impact on your current roster.

AND!!!!!!

Not a onetime thing. Goalline passing is very frequent with the Raiders.

There are better options at rb.

Buckhalter...fill-in

Fargas...noted above...just metioning because of ww

Pittman and Graham...Yardage vs TDs. Ill take TDs.

Dayne...if Green continues to sit out

Watson...only sits behind Rudi.

Sam Morris...shouldn't be on you ww. Just mentioning him for perspective.

Brian Leonard. SJax could be out for awhile.

Did i miss anyone. Any rb in an RBBC with 2 or less people is a better spot.

Chester Taylor...ADP is the man. Just mentioning him cuz Minny coachs have a hard on for him. Trade him to the bucs and watch ADP blow up.

Norwood

Betts...Portis hurt again

Ward-Jacobs

Brown...looks good when given carries.

Leon...scored 12 ponts last week with a TD

Look elsewhere.

Not sure about Oakland's plans, but just guessing that J.Russell will be the starting QB so they'd like to keep a vet RB around and work in M.Bush so still expect to see somewhat of a RBBC in Oakland.

I don't think JaMarcus or Bush will get playing time as long as a. they are mathematically alive for playoff contention - don't laugh too hard, they've looked A LOT more competitive than anyone thought they would through four gamesb. the starters at these positions (McCown/Culp and Jordan/Fargas) are available and healthy. Rhodes is going to be a COP and 3rd down RB, not a starter IMO.To whoever mentioned Griffith, he is the fullback, not a tailback. However in this offense the fullback does get receptions and short yardage trick play type runs.

I think you meant someone else after Jordan/Henry?. Regarding Griffith...my list is of all the ball carriers in Oakland including Cpep.

Bush is worth a flier IMO if you have an IR. I just stashed him.

If Lamont is seriously hurt, Fargas-Rhodes shouldn't be a tough RBBC for a healthy Bush to crack. Rhodes is obv. a solid vet, but Fargas ain't much. If Bush can split carries with Rhodes, he'll have value as a RB4. With upside to maybe even be more down the FF playoff stretch.

Oh yes, sorry, I meant Fargas. I've got freakin Henry on the brain due to his suspicious injuries this week.
