I need a RB with Lynch out. Pittman is my only viable option. Obviously I dont expect much, but I'll be content with 20-25 rush yards and 3 or 4 catches for 25 rec. yards(PPR League).

Is Pittman ready to go?

I will answer your question in the form of a riddle:

"Why the #### can't you use the 'search' function when there are essentially 300 other threads asking the same thing?"

Can't stand those types of responses. Show some respect..........especially for someone who is new to the board.

To answer your question, I might stay away from Pittman this week. Grahm is healthy and if he can carry the load there is no reason for them to rush Pittman back. It sounds like Pittman's ankle is not where it needs to be. Just my thoughts.....

Dont worry. Its cool that he has to go crazy over a message board post.Thats right. Hes yelling and upset over a post on a message board. Very very said.

Still limited in practice on Wed and Thurs. No news available beyond that. Some think he is an excellent pickup for week 12 and beyond into the playoffs because he is a veteran and the TB schedule should keep them in contention to the end. He is better in a PPR league because of his pass catching skills. Graham owners believe the rookie should and will keep the job. This week will likely be some limited game situations, probably on passing downs, if he plays at all. It is against Atlanta so will likely be a low scoring, grind it out affair which suits Graham.

I don't understand the passing down assumptions. Graham had 13 catches in a game earlier this year. There is nothing wrong with that part of his game.

The problem is that Graham was a big contributor on special teams. Since he's been carrying the full load, ST has suffered. The word around here is that they're excited to get Pittman back for 3rd down and spot duty so that Graham will have fresher legs for ST. Graham has been a little slow this week too. I think a 60/40 or 70/30 split will be good for both of them and the team as well.

Can't speak for Bigums...but I'm in Tampa. Ronde talked excitedly on his radio show about having Pitt back...Gruden has been quoted about getting Pitt back involved and what it brings to the O...Pitt's soundbits are all over every commercial break update in town. Pitt is one of the most popular guys on the team, and one of Gruden's favorites.

And while Graham has shown something in the passing game, Pitt is one of the best in the NFL. If he gets a full head of steam and gets the pass in stride, he can eat up yards quickly. That's his game.

Not to mention that Pittman will be in the backfield alot WITH Graham...so it's not a situation of putting one or the other in the game.

Graham has been in the league for like 4 years hasn't he?

Thanks for the info man. I just picked Pittman up off of waivers. I'm in a PPR league so I know I could do a lot worse with this guy being my 4th/5th RB.Chris Brown is there too but I don't know who esle to to drop off my roster...ughhh.

Thanks dude for the info! Just picked him up in my PPR league and know I could do worse for my 4th/5th RB.

Yes, but nothing more than spot duty excepting one game in 2005. Mostly special teams. Pittman is one of Gruden's favorites and has proven himself far more than Graham.

Is it possible it could turn into a 50-50 split here? Trade deadline is today and wondering if I should make a play for Graham. Chris Brown/Julius Jones is out there too. Thanks!
