Michael Robinson (1 Viewer)

I was looking for opinions about Micheal Robinson SF. Do you believe he would be able to see the field this year as either a WR or a RB? I watched him closely last year at Penn State and he was a better RB & WR than he was at the QB position (IMHO).

Is it worth taking a late round flyer on him for redraft leagues or does he merit consideration for Dynasty drafts?

From what I've heard theyre converting him into a 3rd down back. Yeah sure he may line up as a reciever as well. Until there is some closure in the 49ers backfield (a la Barlow getting the boot) I think he has no dynasty value either. Maybe in real deep leagues.

I think he is definitely worth a late-round flyer in dynasty leagues. He's 6'1", 218lbs. and is a pretty amazing athlete and football player. He could end up as a third down back, occasionally lining up at WR. But I would not be totally shocked to see him come in, learn the system and position and end up as the 49ers starting RB in a year or two. With the RB situation the way it is in San Fran, I think Robinson is a great one to take a late-round pick on and stash away on your roster to see what happens.

not sure how to weigh his draft value, but he's more than a 'gadget guy'. he's one tough mo-fo and probably a bigger leader than the current sf qb

note that it's not like the guy was standing still in that video, he was closing in for a big hit of his own and M Rob turned the tables on him...

With regard to that hit, I was watching that game where Robinson nailed Brandon Owens. Owens was a junior at the time and I noticed he's not on the roster for this fall?

Did Robinson knock him out of football or did he go pro?
