I know that Reggie Bush was out, but why did he get the nod over Pierre Thomas? I didn't see the game, but it sure looks like he made the most of the start...

According to the play-by-play, this was the 1st play the Saints ran:1-10-NO 30 (8:49) 21-M.Bell up the middle to NO 37 for 7 yards (54-Z.Diles, 34-D.Barber)I'm guessing it's possible that they could have both been in, but I've also seen another article that said Bell was getting the start tonight...

Bell did not play last week. Saints wanted him to play with the starters so they could see what they had. That's all there is to that. Bell is up for the #3 job. Saints TV made that report prior to game.
