Jones just looks like a good d end with those long arms. Looks like Jevon Kearse.

Im all for him at 19 to the Bears.

Jones appears to be that guy who was basically nowhere on any pundits talking points and is now -- by those same pundits -- being spoken of as a guy that could find his way into the top 10-12 picks. I really don't know much about him, but I've seen quite a few people in the last week suggest the Eagles love him.

Doh,

Missed your thread.

Interesting names who Mayock feels will be first round picks.

This list should be a good tool to keep track of the mid and late round prospects.

I used to really like Mayock, always seemed to come with his point of view and ranked his guys accordingly. Now he just seems like another puppet in the Kiper/McShay mold.

As a general rule, if your rankings change significantly between the end of January and the end of April you're doing it wrong.

The reason the Eagles love him is because he reminds them of the potential of Jason Pierre-Paul and they are still stinging over passing him up when all the world was saying he had potential but was raw, and they ended up taking Brandon Graham instead. I think they are letting their past mistakes haunt their present (not saying Jones won't be JPP, but I think it is stuck in their head).

Surprising how low puts Reuben Randle. I hadn't seen him below Jenkins and Hilton before
I'm thinking Hilton may be higher due to his top return skills.Jenkins may be due to his versatility.More NFL value than FF value.

Probably doesn't matter to most on this board, but it's interesting (to me at least) that Chandler is the younger brother of:

Arthur Jones - starting DE for the Ravens; and

Jon Jones - UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and arguably the best overall fighter in MMA right now.

The Joneses are a very tight knit, high character family, with clearly some good genes in terms of athleticism.

39. Casey Hayward, CB, Vanderbilt - Player that I thought was flying a little under the radar. Now, he is Mayock 4th higest rated corner.

45. Trumaine Johnson, CB, Montana - I would like the Vikings to get him in the 3rd round. This kid reminds me a little of Darren Sharper. Will he be converted to free safety in the NFL?

My AJ Jenkins prediction is starting not to look so bold.

He's very low on Lamar Miller, ranking him after James and Pead. Also surprised by how low he has Randle.
