Signs of a pulse from Mike Williams. I took a flier on him in my keeper league. If you have roster space and he's available you have very little to lose by stepping up. Marinelli is either 1) warming up to Williams or 2) pumping up his value in hopes of a trade.
WILLIAMS IMPROVING: Marinelli said Mike Williams had been "practicing very well" and the coaches were "very encouraged."
"He's just going out and handling his business the correct way," Marinelli said.
Williams wasn't in uniform for the Lions' first two games. He played late in the fourth quarter of their third game, then dressed but didn't play in their fourth game.

Perhaps Marinelli is listening to WR Roy Williams, who campaigned earlier this week for Mike to get more playing time. "He's doing a good job right now," Marinelli said. "He's getting better and better. His practice speed is good. He's really been very precise right now. It's exciting."
