MJD hit his ceiling last year? (1 Viewer)

I know MJD may be kind of hard to predict, but I don't see how he can top his numbers from last year especially if the carries stay 60/40 Taylor/MJD. I haven't heard anything for sure how the carries/touches will go but I would think at the most it would be 50/50 and I'm just curious even with the split like that do you guys really see him topping his numbers from last year? I'm curious how everyone thinks the carries will pan out.

Search function down?

There's been 1 or 10 MJD threads on the board. Check with them first then report back.

I'm not expecting him to top his numbers, just match them. I expect his per touch averages to drop, but for him to get more touches because (1) he should be involved in all 16 games this year and (2) I expect that he'll have a slight larger role (whether because Taylor misses time again or because he is used more). I also expect Jacksonsville to be better offensively this year and a rising tide lifts all boats. But this has been discuss ad nauseum on this board - we just got rid of one thread. Glad to see we've kicked off another for this new week.

I am on the MJD bandwagon, but I have to admit that hearing everyone debate his prospects is getting tiresome. I just want the season to start (and end) so one side or the other (I don't care which) can start the "I Told You So" threads. it will be nasty, but at least one half of the board will go silent on the issue.

P.S. I made the tough choice of trading Caddy to get MJD (more pieces involved). So I get double pain if Caddy rebounds and MJD regresses. But I feel good about the choice. if I am wrong, so be it.

I think something like that may happen and I'm wondering does this sound like a reasonable projection for him this year?around 200 carries 750-800ish yds rushing 8TDs , 50-60ish recepts 600+yds receiving and 3-4 TDs in the air.
