MJD Value from receptions (1 Viewer)

MJD has real good pass catching numbers. He was only targeted four times this weekened, and despite his high completion rate, historically its rare to see him get more than four targets ... any thoughts on MJD's number of targets in weeks to come and how this affects his value w/ the O-line issues in Jax?

I am a pretty concerned MJD owner. I am debating trading him for Marques Colston straight up, to the Brady owner who is also desperate for an RB. Is it too early to give up on MJD. From what I have read here in the pool the OL is devastated with injuries.

Why on earth would you trade MJD after the first week for Colston, a player who is going to miss the next 4-6 weeks, and based on the schedule, i'm pretty sure they will bring him back after his bye week.MJD started slow the first few weeks as well before coming back to his rookie form.

MJD is worrying me right now.

I got him as my #1 in a receiving heavy (1pt/5yds) and return yardage league. He finished as RB4 in each of the last two seasons in this format.

However, now he is off of kick returns and they still only gave him 9 touches. Add to it that the O-line is decimated and I don't think he'll hit my projections.

That said, he was still in double digit FP's last week and it was about as bad as it could get. He also missed a touchdown by about a foot and I read that a challenge could have given him the TD. Instead someone else ran it in on the next play. Six more points makes it a decent day.

He'll still be an OK RB2 in most formats, but I'm scaling back my expectations a bit.

Sorry, posted that early am EST, before the Colston news hit the wire. I was thinking of unloading him before non-sharks new the extent of the damage to the JAX o-line. I have Portis, MJD, Chris Johnson, and Chris Perry and I am a little deficient at reciever. So obviously the Colston plan doesnt work now. I don't want to give up on MJD. I guess I have the luxury of playing matchups.
