Fan Duel and Draft Kings.
I seem to have more luck trying one or the other instead of playing both each night, but that's a preference thing. I found that too many times I just tunnel visioned and plugged in the same players, but they aren't always good plays on both sites.
There are subtle scoring differences - walks are worth more on FD, hits more on DK. Honestly can't remember which one weighs SBs more. For SPs, FD is more forgiving since you only get negative points for ERs - but you only get 1 of them.
Cash games frustrate me, so not sure what tips to give you except that I try to look for batters: high in the order, low K%/high BB%, and tie breaker goes to away teams because of the guaranteed 9th inning at bats. I also usually try to avoid players that get pinch hit for a lot too - Dodgers are notorious for this.
GPPs: like I told RW, I have been trying to use mid tier SPs with a lot of K potential, so mostly I will look at the SPs swinging K%/total K% and the opposing teams' whiff rate. On DK I will take a peek a little at WHIP and BB% too just b/c of the negative points.
For bats and stacks it's mostly about power/walks for me. I write down a few teams that have good ISO #s vs the handedness of the opposing SP vs. a SP that gives up power and has a low K%/high BB%. The theory is you need HRs to win (hence the power), plus the stacking if your guys are on base when one of the others in your LU homers or drives them in. I can't in every spot, but mostly I like to try to jam in guys that could get a HR or two or steal a base or two. Also for gpps, especially in baseball, I try to go low owned as much as possible. Everybody's floor is 0pts in baseball, so if I stack, I will skip in batting order and sometimes purposely leave out a stud or do a weird bottom of the order stack. Something I will do is a Brewer stack like Cain/Moust/Grandal - leave out Yelich and instead of him take another stud like Gallo that could hit 2HRs. Basically it's more popular to just do 1-4 of the batting order for a stack, so I just try to avoid that, especially if I think the team will be popular.
