MLB Network Channel on Cable (1 Viewer)

I'm glad to see Harold Reynolds on the show. He was the only analyst I truly enjoyed on Baseball Tonight.
I could've done without him, but I don't hate him.Trenni Kusnerik (sp?) is a nice addition as well. She used to work at Fox Sports Pittsburgh. One time she was doing an interview between the 1st & 2nd periods of a Pens game and it was very obvious she had "high beams". During the next intermission she had a jacket on.

Trenni was with FSN North and the Brewers last year. We will miss her.

She was on WDVE's morning show last fall. I think she's from Wisconsin originally.

Called and cancelled Dish Network today. Spoke to a real nice lady and told her that I was moving in with a friend who was about to be evicted from his apartment and his apartment was incapable of getting Dish Network because of the "evil" landlord.

I was friendly throughout and she knocked off $100 off the cancellation fee. So, I only owed $115 total (fee and service) to break away from Dish.

Moral of the story: If you're in a bad contract situation, be nice, use what I said above, be willing to pay when you talk to them, and they'll help you.

Prime 9 and Hot Stove are like Crack Cocaine dipped in honey and served off Jessica Alba'a bare ###.

My wife hates the channel already.

Particularly, when they get it right. I was SHOCKED when they had Pedro as #1 on the Prime 9 of all-time pitching seasons and referenced ERA+.Awesome.

DirecTV is finally here and I'm watching highlights from the Reds/A's series from 1990. What a country! [/YakovSmirnoff]

BTW, they had some issues during installation that will make calling in and complaining much easier.

Cards/Mets Game 7 NLCS from 2006 about to come up.You know, the one where Wainwright made Carlos Beltran look like a dunce at the very end.The HD DVR is causing some TV issues with my standard tube. Good news is that I no longer need a 32 inch HDTV because I sit closer to the TV at my new place. Hoping to stop by Circuit City between now and next weekend and seeing if they have any crazy giveaways yet pm a 26 inch TV..

Just called DirecTV. Started off sounding a little aggravated about yesterday's installation experience and said I was thinking about going back to Dish. A little acting (played the "fictional roommate making crazy demands" card) and I got a $23 dollar credit on my bill every month for a year. I tried to get her to extend the movie packages, but she didn't bite. That would have just been the cherry.

The $276 in savings will more than cover the Extra Innings package.

You better make sure they come through with that because they often forget about these things.

I was told it would take effect 6 weeks from now. I'll definitely make sure they're honoring that.

I wish for the classic games that had Joe Buck as an announcer they would do a voice-over with someone else, such as the St. Louis/Detroit world series they were showing this weekend. I would love to have watched but just hearing his voice makes those games unwatchable for me. How does he keep getting all the prime games?
